Not dissing the hardworking devs here, but this game doesn't deserve such a high rating.

Forgive but NEVER forget the empty promises, lame ahh "choices", and the awfully disappointing Final stage fighting THE Adam Smasher himself. CD Red project ruined their reputation and I learned my lesson, if their next game gets released with such state as an early access or an Alpha state, I might just pirate it and buy it when it's complete for 5 bucks as a compensation for this atrocious scam called Cyberpunk.

Forcing me to go through a long ass training (about an hour) although I have been playing the game since early access. Also garry's mod graphics are better than that city map lmao. Uninstalled.

Some people are whining too much, so lets address things calmly and even provide some solutions.

I'm someone who played dying light since day one and saw how Techland treated it, constant events, updates, nice skins and weapons that you can enjoy for sale, and most importantly refining the game mechanics for years till the first day of the release of the second game.

This game is amazing and it feels so good to run for fun and from speedy bois, when the ambient music kicks in, I can't stop running, it just makes me wanna run irl and I love it. You can see it is made with love, they made every running mechanic better and added new moves to it. It's not perfect yet and I believe Techland are aware of that.

Let me address and provide solutions for an issue instead of whining. (as for attention seekers/haters, touch grass <3)

-Denuvo? doesn't affect the game performance at all, it seems like they implemented it well.

-Hate Denuvo? It's temporary and it's because their sales got affected by cracking and stealing and they are trying to protect their hard work at least for some time, so wait till it gets removed or you can play it on HDD if you are worried about the wear of your SSD (idk if that's even true but honestly idc). Remember, touch grass. <3

-Story and side quests: Hate it or love it doesn't matter, what I have seen so far is that yes, your decisions does impact how the story ends and does affect people, every side quest ending affects the side characters (involved in the side quests), life or death, reward or the lack of it, characters liking or hating you etc... I like sitting and watching them talk during cutscenes and that's coming from someone who can't stay in place for too long.

-As for Combat sometimes it seems broken or off, I believe Techland will make it better.

-Co-op with friends is so fun ofc and you can answer a sort of distress call from fellow players while you play.

You can see the love, and passion this world, characters, and mechanics are made with.

8/10 -IGN (9/10 after they refine it just like the first game)

*sigh* where do I start? I will address people's complains.

-Driving: People need to understand that this game is built like a sim
(meaning it's like dirt rally) but with few numbers and values changed to make the cars fun to drive. I don't necessarily agree on their perspective for fun driving but it's okay.
-Ai: People says they are not self-aware and could ram you, I'd say stay in your lane and try to overtake them later. Codemasters Ai has been always aggressive and challenging (according to my experience with Dirt 3, rally ,5 ,and grid autosport). No Ai is perfect, but it's much more fun and challenging than NFS Ai with their rubberband fake racing behavior or Forza horizons Ai (while they are quick but they chicken out and try to be "safe" braking too much so they don't touch you and it makes me sad because they are quick but not aggressive).

Game is fantastic using a wheel in the morning before you go to work i.e. you will have a blast because the FFB with jumps and aggressive driving feels s good, but not so much using a controller.

Fun little game, loved the creativity in each level. :)

Got what I wanted, a different experience, with crazy top-notch graphics, motion capture, and facial animations. Just the gameplay mechanics and physics gets me out of the zone when it doesn't work properly especially the bike, makes me cringe every time I hit something above 5 cm, it's like the bike has no suspension and the tires are made of metal, don't make me start on the jumping feature of it.

If you are like me who doesn't care about imaginary details and gets bored quickly, just skip the dialogue when they start explaining things, it's not that crucial for you listen to all of that, except when they start explaining your new toys!

In order to enjoy the game and appreciate it IMO, is by taking your time to complete it. Don't eat the whole cake in one day. ;)

10/10 would trip and fall while taking "shortcuts", ♥♥♥♥ everything up, and soothe BB again.

Oh and play it on very hard, this is how I found it enjoyable MOST of the times.

Came for the doom guy, stayed for Mick Gordon.

What can I say. The game is as amazing as Dishonored 1.

I have not played any RPG like this since I was a kid, and this game is a fresh start. Glad I got it.

8/10 would watch my friend gets killed by a chicken carrying a rock, laugh, and tell him to git gud again.
