Sadly the game is not as fun as the trailers make it seem. Its very stiff and not very polished, I feel like this game could have done with an overhaul of the quest system and quest requirements. Also sometimes you beat a big ass boss monster at like level 7, who can kill you in 2 hits (you're probably not supposed to kill him yet (a plains beast)) but then after beating him there is this cave so you're like yaaaaaaaaaaassss looting time, Right? Right....? No the cave is filled with Dogs who one shot you because you're not the right level to enter the cave. If you do this you lose my interest straight away.

Great game with an amazing art-style. That said it is filled to the brim with bugs and glitches, stuff will fall through walls if you're not careful and with no way of resetting it, this causes you to be locked out of some puzzles. Audio can be very glitchy especially when you have frame drops. Also for some godforsaken reason the camera is tied to your frame rate.

other then some minor annoyances this game is very relaxing and a great pick up at a discounted price.

P.S. I'm excited to 100% it because they have added achievements for a fishing mini game that isn't in the game yet and that is stopping me from 100% it right now,.

Worth every penny. Waiting for DLC so I can play this GOTY 2022 again.

Really cool concept, Good game-play, Mediocre execution.

DeathLoop is more of a rogue-like/Stealth game than a "Detective game" which they wanted it to be.
The game only has about 4 maps that change depending on the time of day.
The Main story if you ignore everything else, can be done in like 12ish hours maybe faster if you're good at video games.

Whilst the story is interesting and mysterious I don't feel like I uncovered the secrets myself but rather just bumped into them whilst trying to find codes for doors.

Also at the time of writing, the game has been out for about 4 months. It still has major FPS problems, its not smooth and feels un-optimized. Even with an I9 and a RTX3070 the game still dipped below 80 frames without raytracing on.

Get it on Sale or if it has been optimized full price.

Tax dodge simulator, very nice!

A true successor to the first game.
Also a success story for DoubleFine.

The Good:
Amazing graphics.
Great music.
Insanely good voice acting!
Amazing levels.
Plenty of stuff to collect.
Amazing story and plot twists.
Amazing platforming mechanics.

The Bad:
It ends.
So so so soooooooooo much stuff to collect it breaks the pace sometimes.

Originally I thought I had bought Arkham Origins the Pc game. Turns out that no I got blackgate the PSP port, which didn't bum me out that much cause hey more batman right?

NO, GOD NO.

This is not a Batman game, this is Backtrack-man in a batsuit game.

Its 2.5D visuals and maps are somewhat cool and really try to bring the spirit of the full blown pc games, how ever what you end up getting is maps looping in on each other in the most confusing ways, looking at your map will have you going back and forth to the menu screen every room because its just so badly displayed.

Most of the game consist of you chasin down the main 3 bad guys, Joker, Penguin and Blackmask, there are more memorable characters and a pretty stellar cast.
all in all this sounds pretty cool right?............... WRONG!

Every zone will have you backtrack through its confusing as all ♥♥♥♥ layout to get an upgrade to your items, so you can backtrack back to where you were to use the new upgrade only to repeat this 8 more times.

Worst of all, when I thought I'd finally be done with the game, it makes you backtrack even more to 5 bombs spread around 3 facilities, which you have already spent hours running around in. Not only do they make you backtrack again, the worst part is that the bombs are usually far away from exits/entrances which make them tedious and annoying to get to and leave.

The story is pretty mediocre but I enjoyed it.

All in all its not a bad game, just tedious and worst out of the arkham series, get it at a steeeeeeeeeep discount and maybe just look the cinematic's up on youtube, its not really worth spending like 8 hours on.

Only finished its single player, which was the most bland and boring shooter I have ever had the displeasure of playing.
Save yourself some time and money and look for another shooter.

The multiplayer might have had some redeeming factors but in 2021 its a deserted wasteland.

Great game, made by fellow Dutchies. Backed them as soon as i caught wind of this game on kickstarter and was not dissapointed!

You really want to play it but when you start playing it just feels like a grind so you stop and pick it up after 2 months again waste some hours and rinse repeat. atleast thats what it feels like to me!
