A very polished follow up to an old classic. The core gameplay is much the same as CK2 and while obviously not all of the DLC features made it over most of the important ones did, that is those that tweaked and improved the core features of the game rather than tacking on new systems.

Coming over from CK2 the UI has been taking some getting used to, but its similar eanough that it hopefully shouldnt take long to get familiar with it. Said UI is now also littered with extremely detailed and some times multi leveled tooltips making it a lot easyer to keep track of the myriad stats, traits and buffs which should help make the game a little less impenetrable for newbies.

And ofcourse the new full figure 3d characters lends so much more personality to every character in the game, the importance of which can hardly be understated in a game that is all about personalities.
