Cuphead is a great experience visually and aurally, but it leaves a little to be desired gameplay-wise. This game is often called "The Dark Souls of 2D Shooters," but I am not too keen on that comparison. There are many "cheap shots" that a boss will take at you that, your first time, are unpredictable and unavoidable. For Example, Dr Kahl's Robot shooting it's head at you at the phase change, or Grim Matchstick's 3rd phase shooting the flamethrower. The counterbalance to this is that, unlike Dark Souls, you do not lose anything upon your death except time. You have infinite lives and infinite attempts to repeat bosses. Overall, this game was well worth $20. It took me 18.8 Hours to beat this game on Normal, get A's on every boss, beat the game on Expert, and get all the achievements. If you were to just play this game on Normal and put it down, it would most likely take 6-8 hours , and with the incredible visuals and music in this game, it makes the price tag well worth it.

I backed this as a kickstarter project all the way back in 2013, and I can wholeheartedly say that I am glad that it took Gears For Breakfast 4 years to make this game. The level of charm and polish in here is unrivaled, and almost every level in the game has an incredibly unique concept and brilliant execution. Chapters 1, 2, 3, and the Chapter 5 boss fight are phenomenal. ESPECIALLY the boss fights of Chapters 2 and 3. However, the only problem that I have with this game is the lack of unique concepts in Chapter 4. You get hit by masterpiece after masterpiece after masterpiece and then Chapter 4's gimmick is that you can zipline. Wow. In Chapter 2 there is a level where you solve the mystery of the murder of an owl on a moving train while you must avoid detection from the crows that are guarding the evidence. But actually, it is a movie that you are in to help the director win the bird film awards against his rival director who is a disco penguin named DJ Grooves. Aaaand in Chapter 4 you zipline. See the contrast?
This game took me 14.9 hours to beat, collect every collectible, and get every achievment. I would give A Hat In Time a 9.5/10, and recommend it to anybody who enjoys 3D platformers.

Dark Souls III is an excellent conclusion to the Souls series, with many nods to those who have played the previous games. You do not need to know literally anything about Dark Souls or have played any of the other games to play this one. For the rest of this review, I will just copy and paste my review from Dark Souls I, beause it all still applies.

"By far the best game I have ever played. Dark Souls is NOT even close to the hardest games out there, contrary to popular belief. It is just a wake up call from the standard industry games where everything is handed to you. You actually improve at the game as you go, as opposed to just getting equipped with better gear only. This is a perfect 10/10 for me. "

Sid Meier's Civiization V, or Civ 5, as most will call it, is a great turn-based strategy game that can be enjoyed no matter what your group looks like. You're by yourself? The AI is competent and challenging. With another person? You can play each other, team up to play against a team of bots, play online with other people, or play in a world with bots as well as the other player. With 11 friends? All 12 of you can play in a map together, helping or hurting each other. The only gripe I have with this game is at the standard pace games can take upwards of 10 hours to complete, depending on the type of victory the player goes for. Overall, if you're a fan of strategy, this game is a must-buy.

****NOTICE**** - PLEASE wait until the Winter or Summer sales, because this game + all of the DLC will go down to about $20 in total. I love this game, but full price for everything is definetely pushing it.

I've played TF2 for many many many years, and in its current condition I cannot recommend anybody play this game. TF2 is, in my opinion, the worst game on the market for people to play for the first time. They will join a valve server, and have no idea wtf is happening. There is no tutorial whatsoever (besides on basic movement and shooting) and the best teachers of the game are the tips they show during loading screens. Alone, this game will be boring and confusing. With friends, it will be frustrating and still confusing.
Even when you eventually learn everything, the community is rife with small children and people who just scream into their mics. There is no competitive scene for TF2, there is basically no reason for playing at all. Unless you have many friends who already know what they're doing, and you already have the numerous weapons and items you need to be viable in this game, I cannot recommend that anybody play this game.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO is a great shooter to play as long as you have the patience to learn the skills to improve. As far as shooters go, this is the most hardcore one I have ever played. The community, like most, is almost entirely toxic. Luckily, sometimes you'll just find a perfect lobby with hilarious people so you can have fun even if you are losing.
If you have a full squad of 5 friends, I would not recommend CS:GO unless all 5 of you are generally good at video games. If you have friends who just suck at shooters, you will become very pissed off at them through the course of many rounds you will play.

Cringeworthy Dialogue, stupid teenage drama at every turn, terrible solo hipster guy with an acoustic guitar soundtrack, and overall the most pretentious game I have ever played.

Phenomenal.
After you finish it it gives you that feeling where you don't want it to end, and at the same time you're desperate to see what happens.
I hadn't experienced this in a long time.
Thank you, Dangan Ronpa.
