Go in blind. It's great and it's short.

Extremely good. Go in blind, but don't be afraid to use a guide towards the end to make sure you've got everything - once you know your way around I highly recommend getting as much as you can out of all the little corners.

My feelings are overwhelmingly positive about this game.

It's *quite good* stealth and action game with a nice level of freedom for carrying out missions in whatever style you like. There's a nice balance between guards being apparently blind at night time and them spotting you from miles away.

In terms of being a Metal Gear Solid game, however, it's entirely too light on story to be a satisfying conclusion to the series. If MGS4 tried too hard, MGS5 only tried a little bit.

And, Quiet, what the ♥♥♥♥. She's the only woman in the game and she doesn't speak, instantly falls in love with the male protagonist, and can only wear a thong and bikini top for extremely flimsy plot reasons that apparently didn't apply to the 100 year old man in MGS3 who has the exact same *plot things* happen to him.

Still GOTY 2015 though, that's how much I feel the gameplay makes up for the lacklustre story.

Some of the best horror this side of Amnesia. Incredible writing and the best handling of gender and sexuality I've seen in any game.
