no mods

I played an hour and was hand held in the worst way possible (so much that I skipped most of the pop ups after a certain point and was semi lost). As if that wasn't bad enough the combat just felt wrong, maybe it was the weapon I was given but it felt slow and i ended up missing a lot of its because you have to wait way too long after swing to reposition. I spent no less than 20 minutes fighting the first large monster I found, doing at most 7 damage per hit. It was clear that I wasn't meant to fight it yet but I did and it was not really fun, it just did the same 3 attacks over and over while I chipped away at it. I was told that since I loved all the FromSoft games I'd have a good time with this, yet it seems to be the opposite; 'handholdy', clunky and boring.
