Pretty much everything I had hoped and imagined this game would be and then some. The castle is so huge I get lost whenever I don't use map or field book and environment is very pretty. Like it so far story wise and game content. Though I don't like that your character steps forward every time you cast a attack spell. Not game breaking but it's a bit annoying when trying to maintain distance from enemies. Wizards are ranged characters not swordsmen or fencers. Otherwise fantastic game so far. Will add/edit this as I play more. Exicted to see what awaits me and what possible DLCs may come out. Hope modding is something encouraged by devs in the future. I can see a lot of potential there.

Early Access Review
Posting issues i find here. Just a few so far. I don't know if this is the cause but i had two quests to kill 5 wolves. turned one in and talking to 2nd person did nothing to complete 2nd quest. Still says talk to them. Also I had an issue where an a trader was permanently unable to talk to me. Would say doesn't want to talk to me. lasted 4-5 in game seasons minimum. Either they finally died and someone replaced them or something happened and it fixed it self. Also some quests don't update automatically. Went ahead and got a wife and heir before the chapter quests tells you to. Still says to get one even thought I already had one.

Edit: never mind just had a starving hunter quest that also bugged out. same problem. Could be because i had double the amount required or not. Idk. said to bring 1 fish and 11 meat. goes through dialogue and exits but doesnt complete. Seems like all side quests are now bugged. can't complete any of them now.

For what the game offers and the low price, its very enjoyable. I do like it and can see the potential if the devs keep added more content and things to do. Maybe add a story line or perhaps discover another survivor and/or dog npc to work with mid-late game that helps with farming or resource gathering? I only have minor complaints but nothing major. For the enhanced kitchen which allows you to use other fuel besides logs, maybe for example like with hay. give us the ability to add the entire stack at once instead of 1 at a time. with several max stacks of 99 hay my fingers are starting to cramp haha. Could also give us the ability to split stacks by adding a scroll slider to select how many we want to split. Also the amount of time the wood or other fuel burns for is way too low for the amount of work you have to put into gathering it. id have the logs be at least 4-5 min per and branches 30 sec. or you can increase the amount of logs dropped or shorten the time to cook some things to offset it. I spend most of the game trying to keep up with wood. Could also make it to where you don't need to til soil or use compost for trees on green grassy areas. The soil should already be good from previous planting trees in area. Its a waste of a valuable resource that could be used on farming or other areas that are still dead. I can understand using it initially for dead areas but after that shouldn't be needed for that anymore unless you expand outside green zones. food and water isn't an issue to get but having enough fuel to cook food or boil water is. Also the cooked wild greens(one you find) and the cooked dandelion recipes have the same exact water/food +15/+15 but wild greens takes up more resources. Seems that it isnt worth it when you start out with the cooked dandelion recipe.

Also do something about that water barrel that is inside the house you start in and the other buildings that have one like the church building. After you use up the water, its pretty useless and takes up space. Either give us the ability to refill it or let us move it outside by dismantling it like other built items using the pliers. I like the idea of separate containers like herbs and meat that is in the game. Expand upon that or make them a little bigger or increase the food jar stack cap more than 5 to like 10-15. Around mid-late game you are able to make a lot of preserved food quickly but have limited space and resources to build containers.

Love the game, however I still have a problem with it. I wont post issues about game play features or bugs since those are already mentioned in the comments. My only concern is the lack of content once you've done all the major quests. They mention the town a lot and something about a army in the north. Can't remember haven't played game in ages. Yet despite being mentioned, not once do you ever go to the town or anywhere dealing with this army. It feels like an unfinished game. It's not even in early access anymore. I understand the end game mentions this lack of content but its been out for a long while now. I liked the stranger sins dlc and it added a little bit more content. Yet there is no mention of any more dlc coming out addressing the other issues. instead they worked on another game. This game has immense potential and want to keep playing it but not the resource and business grind as its repetitive. I want the content that expands upon the story mentioned but not actually dealt with. the plague ships, the town, and the army. Also what about the characters lover that shows up at the end?? what happens next? It feels like a canceled popular tv show left with major cliff hangers. Not cool.

Edit: Also I just saw the new DLC posted. Cool stuff and cant wait to try it out but still doesn't address the above mentioned on the loose ends that need to be tied up. Also the 3rd DLC? Hope they aren't seriously counting the OST as an DLC. thats just music. Doesn't add anything new to the game.

Early Access Review
Very fun game. Though I'm having a problem with the crashuploader that pops up when game CTD. It freezes or says an error when submitted report which makes it useless. Since that is an issue im posting issues/bugs i find here. Game freezes when I talk to npc Jinda (Aserai faction ruler at the time) as soon as i click the 1st dialogue choice for introduction on the map after she runs after me since im an enemy to that faction (most recent issue). Game stuters even though i have an fps of 117+ and low graphic settings to try fix the issue. I run a 4gb evga 960 gtx ac 2.0 dual fan graphics card and have 16gb of ram with an i5 core so it isnt an hardware issue. Sometimes npcs get stuck on ladders at the top of wall during sieges. Most of the problems im having is during sieges even there was an update just now to fix a crash during sieges; still need more work on them.

update: Despite the troop fix for aserai faction i'm still getting the freezing bug while talking to their faction leader.
Will update as I find more bugs or at least until bug report software works again.

Great game so far. Only thing i've noticed so far thats really just a minor annoyance, is that i've run into 1 item so far that is labeled wrong when using relic scanner. Maro's Tales. It will say 12 or 14 on scanner but when I dig it up and grab it I'll get something like Marco's Tale 8 or 13 instead.

Fun so far... But... A few irritating bugs like cant progress the construction or agriculture staff quests any further. Says get microchip by aiding scientist which I did and I have the blueprint and microchips in inventory. Agriculture staff wants me to plant and grow solar vines. I already had some planted and had solarium in my inventory already yet doesnt mark it as such. Even planted and harvested new ones and still nothing. Storage containers get bugged sometimes it will say item critically damaged when its raw materials or it will say inventory full when i clearly have maxed out my available slots in general inv and have space. so i've got like 50k worth of raw materials I cant use because its stuck in there. Sometimes relogging or restarting entire game seems to fix it but not all the time. Not a bug but very irritating. why must I have to re-craft and install mods on my multitool or ship when I exchange it? I would love to be able to uninstall them besides dismantling them and put it on a new tool or ship. like real life mods for weapons or vehicles you can take them off and put it on something else compatible. makes no sense. Sometimes i'll get stuff while using my base portal, even got a transaction for a ship. Doesn't sound like that should happen. Thankfully none of this is game breaking except for the missions.. Can't continue those and there isnt a bug report button anywhere that I know of.

Not sure if devs read these comments..but a few suggestions. Add customization to ships like the appearance modifier does for the player body. I want to be able to change the color and design of my ships including the freighter. Tired of having to find the right color ship if I can even find it. Also I'd love the ability to build my own custom ship and design it from scratch like how you kind of can with base building. Also add a little more variety on planet life. Most of the common planets are not unique in the way of plants and creatures.. almost always the same type just different name. I've run into a few unique planets that had completely new stuff but not many. Add the ability to heal besides looking for med boxes. Its retarded that I cant heal normally.. Or at least have it where we heal over time. Also why do I only have the option to give just 1 nav data or relic at a time to an npc? I have stacks of it and it takes forever having to do it one at a time for planetary data. please add the ability to decide on how much to give to save time. Also some items like the larva dropped by whispering eggs sometimes drop off the map or dont give anything at all. I noticed theres quiet a few systems without space stations. an idea would be to allow us to build our own in those areas and gain income from passing ships.I really hope you guys are going to continue to add new content for a while. So much more that could be added. Pretty sure everyone would agree with this and im sure its already been asked by many other players. Please fix the bugs that have been around since launch and still havent been fixed yet. do that before you add/if more content. Thanks!

Update: Most base computers do not work when doing the base computer archive missions. Even going to the one highlighted with the marker in the teleporter doesnt do anything. Only certain ones work and if you have a lot of bases its hard to find the right one. It only goes into the main screen. Shouldnt all of them work instead of just a few? There also needs to be a way to just sell starships without having to exchange or claim a new one. Id like to make room for different ships without having to fly my lower end ones that barely have anything on them constantly to use for trading without using my good ones.

love the game but theres at least 1 game breaking issue for me. when ever i get at least 1 yellow circle for walkers, some ladders you need to climb in some levels are unclimbable. not sure if that is intentional. The only way ive managed to get around it is by stealth as much as possible and avoid getting any levels in walker activity. For example the mission to rescue raina. the elevator ladder isnt climbable and neither is the ladder to reach the second floor of the building near the gate in the memorial building of killing hurst mission which is where one of the computers you need to interact with is. Can't interact with any of the other 2 computers so im assuming that you have to interact with that one. this particular level is very difficult to play stealthy since you have to kill some npcs for a key & they take several shots. they alerts npcs very quickly and you are detectable super easily even when crouched and far away. The range npcs detect you is a bit high. which is ridiculous. if that gets fixed then awesome. but that makes this a bit unrealistic to play stealth. I really like this game and enjoy playing it but this is a major issue for me. Overall good game but some mechanics need tweaking. Feels a bit like a walking dead version of vermintide with the map, 4 player co-op, bounties, upgradable weapons, etc. Pathfinding & p2p hosting is crap. I wont mention too much on issues already mentioned by others on here. you basically have to go solo & use mods while running private to avoid ban to just even complete some missions which is crap. shouldnt have to. Usually best to use shotgun w/silencer to quickly deal with human npcs before they raise the meter too much. btw that really needs to be addressed. You would expect npcs with military kit(brigade for example) to use silencers not only some country bumpkins looking characters we plays as minus aiden & maya. If they are as badass & well trained as the story makes them out to be, id expect them to know better than to go guns blazing and draw a horde. Speaking of which the meter goes up way to fast. Devs PLEASE fix these issues. I really want to recommend this game.. I really do but cant as of now until ladders are at least fixed. can live with playing solo and bad pathfinding. but for the love of god fix the game breaking and impossible mission beating problems. I want to know the rest of the story. When this is addressed i will change it to a yes.

(EDIT: just tried beating hurst mission as mentioned above & get to the area with the computers. Can't even climb the ladder to access the area now and i even got there without reaching level 1 on horde meter. So the work around doesnt work anymore at least for that mission. really irritating to go through most of the level only to find i can't climb a ladder i need to climb only to have to back out and try again. stopped counting after attempt 20).

Ive been playing the game for a little bit and plan to play more. I really enjoy the game so far and see a lot of potential in it. I've had steam for a very long time. Almost 10 years.. Maybe a little more and this is my first post ever on any game. And I have have almost 400 games though that may not be much for some. SO I hope that says something. Not sure if devs read these posts but I'd really think it would be awesome if they added a bit more to the survival stuff maybe more items to place or renovation items, bigger bunkers or the ability to build your own? Heck even building trap or secret doors to hidden safe rooms would definitely fit. I'd also love to see the ability to renovate mansions, castles, farms, etc. Maybe add landscaping because some of the yards at some of the houses are awful or overgrown. Mow or weedeat yard at least? Maybe add the ability to add a garage or basement or attic. I know some houses come with basements but no option to build one. Would be nice to have the ability to add upgrades to house or place installation ports for the rooms like washer, ac, sink, toliet etc. While minor, I think it would be cool to be able have the ability to toggle 1 light at a time for a room instead of all of them if there are multiple lights. Kinda gives it a mood setting if you can afffect the lighting. There are tons more ideas in my noggin but think I'll save those another time as I see this game progress more. Still has some lagging issues, mostly on loading screen even though my FPS doesn't seem to drop in game. After a while the game stutters a bit too while playing. Not to big of a deal and i'm sure optimization is being worked on so I have faith these problems will be fixed eventually. Also the kindergarden house still has some bugs despite the hotfix. The room with all the desks still doesn't update the items needed to be placed. Stuck on saying needs wide or narrow curtains which don't fit on the windows for some reason. Occasionally by selling a curtain it will update and then go back to curtains again after placing the needed item. stuck at 33-32 items left to place. Also another room says all the trash needs to be picked up. At about 90 something % and can't find anymore so not sure whats up with that. One of the only levels I couldn't get 100% completion on. Will update this as things change or new stuff comes out. Don't think i'll change my post to a negative review anytime soon. Great game for what it is so far! Keep bringing out new content guys and keep doing the great work(including fixes)!
