First, thanks for putting in the time and effort to escape the first room (hint, hint), you're not the first player to get stuck! Without spoiling, you were definitely on the right track! I think the Eureka moment you're looking for would be to figure the password out yourself :) Maybe it was a tricky word? There are over 5,700 possible passwords, it's new each playthru. If you give it a 2nd play, you might find it easier next time to arrange the letters - or maybe not! I even get stumped while testing.
Keep in mind, we're trying to create a game that intentionally takes 85% of players at least 2 - 3 playthrus to solve. We think having puzzles change their solutions each playthru helps keep replays fresh and fun! Don't get discouraged if some of the puzzles seem tricky on first play, we're trying to keep an element of challenge in the game for even the most hardcore escape room players.
