This game is fun to golden path but yeah man so much of the fluff content just Is Not That Fun if you're mostly interested in souls games for the PvE challenge. 223 hours means that I have certainly got my money's worth though and if I only had one souls game to play for the rest of my life it'd be this one.

I think if the next proper game Fromsoft makes is smaller in scope, Elden RIng's legacy will be cemented as something beautiful in its ruthless ambition rather than the start of everything going wrong. Being critical of 223 cookies for 100 dollars seems silly until 9-10 of those cookies are salted with borax. Nevertheless, returning to this game trains the nose to put those cookies to the side. It's good
