They fixed it, no more PSN required, you can buy it now. it's very good. Leaving the old review for posterity so managed democracy always remembers.


One of the most fun games of the year, DO NOT BUY! Sony has a storied history of data breeches and unsafe storage practices for you data. Being forced to make an account and give out personal information is NOT SAFE for a company with their history.
