Hands down the best intro to modern Yu-Gi-Oh. The modern format is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're interested in learning/playing the game there's no better place to start.

Micro-transactions are present but are by no means necessary to build even the most competitive decks - given you are willing to duel players or bots for the in-game currency. The game has received regular support from Konami ensuring that there is a steady flow of engaging content. My biggest complaint is the lack of support for MacOS despite there being identical iOS and iPadOS apps for the game.

An incredible experience worth the $10.
