If you don't even give this game a try when it's free then I am sad to say that you have brain problems.

New lights should go to Amanda in the hangar to play though all the old Y1 campaign content first though as a basic introduction because some reason Bungie made it legacy content

The scale of this game is just insane. It has pretty good depth in it's mechanics that it stays fun over time but also does not get too boring. Way better playing with friends and just exploring new planets that can hold a whole new adventure.

Completed the main quest line, and honestly, I was hooked the whole way though. Working your way out of a mystery. Every time you move on to try and answer some questions you will only have more by the end of the game. It's quite a sad story to be honest. I loved the sense of mystery and trying to find reason.

Even after the main quest, there is lots more to do if you enjoy the kind of singleplayer survival game genre. Collect, build, advance, expand.

Changing my review to negative. The game still has massive issues that have been present from launch but it's worse because most people are abusing these things. The animations seem to be bugged beyond belief. For example with a lot of the shorter sword stabs, you will take full stab damage while the animation is still winding up and the enemy is lowering their sword to stab. The game is just no longer fun for casual players and having fun because the meta is still the same. Get a long weapon and spam stab. Plus why did they add the Javelin... I understand devs are trying to balance but it takes way too long for updates to come out and when they are its barely a change. I'd rather have large changes than small tweaks because at least with large changes and constant updates the community can give more feedback on what works well and what does not.

No longer worth the buy, It's simply not fun to play anymore and it's just infuriating. Shame because this game was most fun when everyone was new and still learning the meta. When there was actual build diversity.

Positive review

This game is amazing. Any Chivalry should play this game. Combat is smooth and most move swings have effective counters that can be hard to pull off in a good flow. Good amount of skill involved (aside from archers who sit at the back on the map).

Once you know how the basics of survival works and where to get all the different types of ores you need. This game is a ton of fun with friends. At the beginning the game is brutal when starting on a planet, this is good. Getting into space when playing on survival feels really rewarding to finally have a foothold in space. Plant down your reactor and start to set up a space station. Creating ships after breaking atmosphere is so much easier as you don't need near as much thruster power in a vacuum. 50 hours into survival with around 4 friends and still have lots more content to explore if you're willing to do the grind.

Something is just very fun to build your own ships and space stations with you friends to achieve a goal of just exploring and building cool stuff. Very good game for those kind of people who love to explore build and mess around. This game is much better with friends, I could not see myself playing survival solo as the grind seems too much, even when we have a lot of modifiers to give more than base stat (player inventory size for example).

Making mods for this game is very easy, everything you need to know is on their Lua wiki and there are plently of tutorials on how to port models and textures to source engine. If you are looking to get started in modding, start here.

Just stay away from DarkRP.

Early Access Review
Fun to play for a few hours, hop on and hop off. This game has constant updates and the devs are always trying to add and fix a lot of things, the game has changes a lot sincea few months ago since I purcahsed it. I would say purcahse the game if you are wanting to invest in the project and support the devs for the final product. For now its a very fun past time.

Fun with friends if you don't take it seriously.

Not even an RTS fan but I like this one. A lot of content for the money spent plus the level creator makes this game pretty much never end as you always have something new and different to play.

5.8 Hours in, not even a quarter way through the main story, probably because I'm bad but oh well. Buy this game. Man vs goo.

One of the best free to play models in gaming at the moment. Never once have I felt that not giving this game money has made me less powerful.

The mastery level is what prevents this, people cant buy their way to the top and get all the best gear, when they need to level up for it first. When leveing up your mastery, you have to gain XP by using weapons that are not already max level, this means you must progress by changing up your weapons and warframes. This is not forced on you however, you may use only one new item that is not fully maxed out, this means less XP. It is a very well done balancing act that keeps the game fresh at all times.

Trading for the paid currency also is what many of games should allow people to do for ingame items. This means that the buying end can get a cheaper deal than off the market, and the free player who does not spend money also gets to enjoy the premium customisation stuff. It's a win win.

Combat is fluent and the controls feel right, once you get the jumping combos down to move around a map super quickly feels super awesome and so does melee attacking enemies from out of mid-air. This game aims to make you feel like a god and succeeds in doing so on a massive scale.

With the hundreds of different weapons and warframes to to choose from, you can find your perfect way of playing this game.
