This game makes me so sad. Because there are genuine improvements to the game compared to CS1, but it also introduces so many problems, biggest of which is the seemingly random lane switching that vehicles do which causes constant traffic issues. The low density housing also leaves a lot to be desired as the models are extremely boring.
Basically you need to download a crap ton of mods to make this game fun, and the switch from steam workshop to paradox mods comes with a lot of problems.
Biggest problem I've encountered is that my save got corrupted for using road anarchy (one, if not THE most popular mods). And just like that I lost a 20 hours save in an instant. Nothing I can really do to get it back.
I am extremely dissapointed with the state this game released in (as a big fan of CS1)

I can only hope that after a couple years this game becomes more playable. Until then I'm sticking to CS1

Why do so many devs decide to release clearly unfinished games with the plan on fixing them later.
Just take a couple extra years, however long you need to iron out the wrinkles instead of releasing a half baked pile of steaming hot ♥♥♥♥

TDLR: This game should never of released in the state t's in, and even over a year later it's still not in a great state.
