This is probably the most depressingly realistic zombie survival game out there. I still have vivid memories of my first somewhat successful character's death, of getting bitten before locking myself in a gas station bathroom and downing almost two boxes of sleeping tablets while listening to zombies banging on my door, all before realizing that the virus still turns you after death---rest in peace, Ben Dover. That being said, it's certainly not for everyone; it's generally a relatively slow-paced, methodical, and unforgiving experience where you are often heavily punished for making hasty moves. However, there is also an extreme amount of customization through both vanilla game settings and the many mods, allowing a reasonably large margin of play styles combating anything from World War Z (film)'s sprinters to Night of The Living Dead's classic shamblers. Solid 10/10 for me.
