Definitely worth getting now after the October2023 update. I believe it should have been released like this to begin with but it is what it is. They have added more skills to the class tree skills and made the builds more varied and interesting. Adds a bit more variety and replayability. They also changed the grind of the weekly missions which feels better now as it was quite a lot of grind before. The ability to keep changing the quests you get is also a major plus. Its the little quality of life changes they made that is a step in the right direction imo. You can now also change the perks and passives on your weapons as well. Makes grinding for a weapon with certain stats a bit better.

All that aside, if you are a fan of the Warhammer 40K world & lore, then you definitely want to get this game. The music in the game is quite good, and the level aesthetic of the worlds they create are really well made and immersive. You do feel like you are in a Warhammer 40k world, with all its harsh brutality and grim life. All in the name of the God Emperor.
The voice acting is good, and the dialogue between the characters can be funny at times, especially between 2 Ogryns lol.

As a lover of sci-fi, this game is great. If you love sci fi and shows like The Expanse or movies like the Aliens franchise, you don't want to miss out on Starfield. The world and art they created is quite good. From freezing low gravity almost barren moons to busy City undergrounds, there is always something to do and something to look at especially for someone like me who loves the art & architecture side of things. The world feels interesting and lived in. From doing quests, to surveying planets, to exploring dark abandoned mines, which gives an almost horror game kind of feel.

The little issue I have is fast travelling. It would have been more immersive if you can manually land your ship, dock your ship, taking off, etc etc.. But in the long run, I can see myself not wanting to manually do these things and would utilize the fast travel feature. I wont kid myself. Of course I would like the manual stuff for immersion, but once you play for a few dozen hours, I'm most likely going to be like "nah lets just fast travel cause I cba about manually docking into the space station."

Another thing is no vehicles for planetary exploration. Now I can see why someone would opt out of this. A lot of the planets and moons I've been to have rugged terrain and low gravity, would just be a pain in the *** to drive in. Again, I would have liked some sort of vehicle (apart from the jet pack we get) for immersion.

Performance wise, I have a nvidia geforce rtx 4090 and an i9-13900 cpu and I can run the game decently with ultra and FSR turned off. There are mods on nexus to enable DLSS and improve performance for those who want it and its fairly easy to use. I am also foreseeing many more cool mods to be added, just like in Skyrim.

Yes you can say its Skyrim in a sci fi setting in space, and I'm loving that. Its a beautifully crafted world and a sci fi lover like me will enjoy it quite a lot.

Livin the life, truckin in Murica.
Slap in a few mods here and there, and you'll become a trucking enthusiast in less than 24 hours.

Runs very bad on Mouse & Keyboard. But when I tried using the controller, it was smoother.
Quite a bad console port.
Some performance issues and audio issues don't help either.
If you want a smooth mouse and keyboard experience then look elsewhere.
Give this game a few months for patches and wait for a sale.

I'm just tired of games released in a sh*t state and then they come on twitter and go like "our team will address issues in upcoming patches".

Fun game (so far). I think most people moaning about it are struggling to run it. Yeah sure it could use a bit of optimization but I feel to write the game off just because of that is unfair. I do have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Geforce RTX 3090 so I am not struggling as much.

In terms of game play, there are some interesting elements like the building system and the "creating your own paths" on the map mechanic. I've never been able to get into the Monster Hunter franchise, but this game so far has got me interested.

Price is steep I agree, I'd say if you're unsure, get it on a sale.

Awe
some
game.
I mean who hasn't fantasized about being a funny little dwarf? I know I have.
Not only that, you get to go diggy diggy hole, and mine stuff to your heart's content.
Be wary though, bizarre alien critters and insects lurk the dark caverns.
Play solo to get the hang of a specific type of mission, and or join other fellow dwarves to do a mission.
4 classes, each has a good role and a part to play.
Time to sharpen your pickaxe.

With the empty stadiums and fan-less matches due to covid, I felt there was something missing, and FIFA21 seems to fill that void.

I did not buy last years fifa, and decided to get this one. (I play mostly Career mode so I dont really spend extra money).
All I can say is that it's pretty fun to hop in, play a few matches, fill my footballing needs, and quit. I've personally noticed improvements in defending now, and body physics. The graphics and details are slightly better than previous titles and the added touches to career mode are nice, like the interviews and the more in depth approach to developing your players, to the point where you can change their position. So I liked that.

Watching football these days with the empty stadiums is sad and FIFA21 just scratches that itch. Yes there are a few bugs but nothing game breaking, and I'm not sure you can name a game in 2020 that is bug free.

If you're like me, and don't want to spend extra money on cards, ultimate team, etc etc... and you love football, then definitely get this game.

Early Access Review
Decent early access game so far. Quite fun and really detailed. The graphics are amongst the best for its genre. Baldur's Gate 3 is taking this "top down" RPG to a whole new level and setting the bar high.
It needs improvement in some aspects like cut-scenes and lip movement, but overall, the animations are promising. This is an early access game and I can only see things improving, and we're only helping Larian develop it.
Animations, graphics, sounds and music are nice.

I see people complain about the price, and when I saw the price I was like "whoa..." but when you think about it more, it makes more sense. Act 1 alone is 20+ hours, and if you like to play slow and explore, it may take double that.
Lets face it, we've seen finished tripe A games for full price that last less than 10 hours. 2019 and 2020 has seen a few poorly made games with full price and a short play time.
Second, we're buying the full game, not just act 1, we're buying act 2 and 3, so when the game is complete, we'll have something we can play for 80 or a 100 hours + with all the re playability of the game.

If you're still in doubt, just wait for more development and see how it progresses, but for me, it is quite fun so far.

I'll cut to the chase and get to the point in two sentences, since not many people have a lot of time or money:

1- Save your money for a better game.

2- Reading this? then run, run as far away as you can, and quick.

Interesting game, set in a rather nice atmosphere. I certainly like the art and the post apocalyptic feeling to it.
