Not giving Sony my info. I like the game, but screw that.

I loved Odyssey, so I was super excited for this to come out. I bought it day one on Ubisoft's launcher and it was unplayable.

Hast forward to this week, I played it on steam, hoping most of the issues were resolved and they were, but the game is just bad by design. The combat is clunky, the movement is deeply unintuitive and it doesn't capture my attention like Odyssey did.

There are some good things. The scenes are nice, the music is great and well ... Vikings! but these aren't enough to save it.

I know the new AC is coming out in October and I hope they return to Odyssey level greatness, but i don't make the mistake of buying day one again.

Doesn't work on steam deck which is the only reason I would buy on steam when I have it on Blizzard launcher.

Game is riddled with hackers. There was a patch released last week and didn't resolve any of the issues.

Don't buy this game, online is pretty much unusable.

I've been playing Call of Duty games since Cod 4 so I was excited to potentially get a glimpse into the old days of cod and enjoy nastalgia.
Unfortunately, MW2 is exactly what I expect from a call of duty game in 2022.

When you load up the game, you are forced to create an infinity ward account or log into one. Once you do, you are affronted with multiple ads, asking you to buy warzone skins, DLC and lots of other stuff BEFORE YOU EVEN OPEN THE GAME. You need to scroll past around 5 ads before you can open the game.

Once you get into the game, it's just not fun. Sweaty MLG-wannabes spawn trapping, no objective gameplay, etc.

Just not a fun game. I've returned after 2 multiplayer games.

Can't comment on single player, was too disheartened to even try it.
