this game makes me happy

It's not good, but sometimes you just need a brainless shooty game that you don't have to care much about (all the characters are dumb, annoying, and worthless). Also I kind of like the shipbuilding.

Competent enough, has a similar aesthetic to Bloodborne with a parrying mechanic similar to Sekiro but a bit more finicky. The wounds and claw mechanic or whatever it's called isn't difficult to grasp. Has the same problem as every other souls-inspired game which is that every area in a specific location looks the same so it can be difficult to tell where to go or where you've been.

A poor imitation of the original Darkest Dungeon. Everything that made the original unique has been thrown away, and the entire game is now nothing more than a generic, uninspired roguelike. Your heroes don't even die properly, and get resurrected at the start of each run. Utterly dull.

This is the kind of game you play at 8pm for like an hour and then it's suddenly 8am

If you're thinking of buying this for Shadow of Rose, don't bother. It's utter ♥♥♥♥.

I'd rather play runescape.
