An absolute classic. I just snagged it for old time sake and have already sunk 40+ hours into it.

Definitely has some replay value with the several paths you can take your civilization. I really wish they'd come out with a sequel or a remaster that included multiplayer.

I've played survival crafting games since original minecraft came out. In all of the years playing, this game does the genre better, smoother, and with the right amalgamation of great features I've seen in all the others. Such a beautiful game, and the mechanics are top notch. Even in the ways it's limited (limiting talent points per character) keeps it exciting after you've reached the level cap, as you need different characters for different skillsets.

One note: there is a brutal mechanic in this game where a game crash can lose you dozens of hours worth of gear to the aether. If this is a trigger for you, definitely still get it, but don't engage with the workshop based items that you have to pay for. Eventually you make enough that losing a set of armor or something doesnt matter, but you don't reach that until a couple hundred hours in.

This is a perfect game for friends. Challenging, surprising, not a simple game to beat.

Considering this is very early alpha, this game is going to go places. I love it.

A little grindy solo, but crazy fun with friends.

The intro to this game is harder than almost any other I've ever played. Realistically, you know nothing about fighting and are being pursued by veteran soldiers. If you do end up getting through it, the game opens up and becomes a lot more sandboxy. I would say that this game beats out skyrim by a large margin, in my opinion. There are still some loading bugs, some heads missing sometimes, some textures slow to load, etc. But this is well made up for with the gorgeous scenery, immersive story, believable random encounters, true to period gear, realistic battle, amazing alchemy system, etc.

In all, I HIGHLY recommend this game if you're at all inclined towards story driven, yet flexible, single player games. It is a hard game in the early game, but well worth it when you become a badass later.

You know what. They're still releasing content for the main game, and it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing game. Forget everyone that's being salty about pre-day-one DLC. This is a good way for them to fund development, you cheap bastards, and see which direction the final game should go.

You want everything for free, and want it to be top notch? Get real. You get what you pay for.

This game is fantastic, even in the early stages of the Alpha. Easily one of the most beautiful engines I've seen in a long time. Highly recommended. MP is a blast, too.

If you're like me and my friends, this game is the ultimate playground. Less of a game and a set of limitless tools to create anything that your minds can comprehend.

By far my most played game of all time, and by far the most likely game for me to let my children play in place of the lego creativity I grew up on.

I've played over 1400 hours of this game and it never gets old. I will forever buy every single DLC pack keen decides to release and advise all of my friends to do the same.

By far my favorite game of all time, and I've seen a lot. This game is the real deal, and I hope that Keen Software House never loses their love for this magnificent creation.
