Update 05/17/2022: Nautilus blackscreen is now fixed, we are able to now proceed with our persistent save instead of having to restart from scratch on a specific checkpoint.

If I was playing on EU with the way they've been treating the EU servers/community, this would be a 'no'.

When the servers work, the game is fun.

Game is a ton of fun with high stress moments. Problem is it doesn't have Online MM yet so you have to either convince enough friends to purchase the game or find randoms on Discord.

That said, I haven't had a faulty connection/bad experiences with the game yet - and the discord community is pretty friendly.

Played during the free weekend a couple months ago

Decided to buy it with the DLC during the steam sale - haven't been disappointed. Loved the game during the free weekend, but buying the full game and getting my first couple of level 30 characters/meeting with groups that aren't toxic/cancerous is a blast.

Good runs, solid dungeon/hacknslash game. Challenging at times, rewarding at times; great graphics, awesome soundtrack.

Content might feel limited, but it's fun to search for tomes/grimoires and have an even tougher challenge stacking x2 grimoires on Champion/Legend mode.

I'm not a RTS gamer AT ALL

but I watched an AI battle of Civ 5 on youtube and thought that it was a cool concept. Realized I had purchased the game and all the dlc back when it was all on a bundle sale for only $10.

I haven't been able to put it down. I end up playing for 8+ hours at a time. It's so addictive idk what it is.

Help me!

I wrote a review back in 2018 when Battlefield V was coming out and everyone was jumping on this game hyped for the 'death of EA'

Looks like nothing has changed.

'Decent indie game' that will die from lack of playerbase once they realize it's not a AAA production. In terms of comparison with modern titles lots of aspects lacking and poorly implemented.

Gameplay somehow feels even more clunky than before.

Next.

Foxhole is a stress-free, yet very stressful top-down shooter set in the World War II era.

You choose your playstyle and can either be in the hectic frontlines with bullets whizzing past you and mortars whizzing, you working the backlines with supplies and scrapping. It can be a real PTSD simulator if you play in the heat of the moment.

I enjoy the medic role, rifleman second type of playstyle. So far, many respectful players while I have come across very few disrespectful ones.

Pros:
- Many long hours of gameplay that is constantly changing
- You'll meet some very friendly people and very easy to find groups
- Developers care about the community and even play their own game
- Not pay to win with a cheap initial purchase cost
- Gameplay is very realistic and the developers wish to keep it that way.

Cons:
- You'll spend a long time walking, and there is a relatively steep learning curve for efficiency
- The game doesn't hold your hand
- Lack of tutorial
- It takes time to get into a game physically/emotionally. You can't just spin up arcade mode and shoot down people like CS:GO

Regardless of tutorials, I suggest reading player-written guides for most games than even worrying about the tutorial in general, so that's my opinion on that; but I listed it just in case.

TL;DR: Great game, I recommend it for everyone of all ages (you can't take gore off though).

CS:GO Review
Awesome game full of grind and skill. Lots of raging from the community but overall it's really enjoyable if you grab a group of friends and relax.
