A really nice adventure game.
I preferred LBA1 more than the second but it's still worth trying especially if you have played the first one.
The introduction of the aliens felt a little out of place and it feels a little bit easier but it's still a decent storyline

The graphics in are greatly improved but still kept the same aesthetics as LBA1 however the biggest change is the ability to rotate the camera around more where as before it used to be fixed.

It's open world and movement, combat and the way you interact with things are controlled by selecting one of the four 'moods'.

Worth buying if it goes on sale but I definitely recommend playing LBA 1 first.

An absolute classic adventure/platformer game, not the sort that you see get made anymore.
I really loved it many years ago and still a great game to this day.

Originally it was released on steam with just the newest version but after lots of feedback the classic version was added.
Both versions are good but play out differently, The enhanced edition is a little more simplified but also easier to control (moving around and attacking).
It's worth checking both out and playing through them.

It's a little unfortunate that you can't unlock achievements on the original (Dos) version, so if you want them you have to play the enhanced edition.

There's a nice storyline although the voice acting is a little bad for todays time - yet it works nicely with the game still.
It's open world but the story line is very linier, not much replay value except it's nice to go back to every once in a while.
Some areas can be difficult and a little frustrating.

The two worst aspects of the game is running into walls - taking damage - and being get caught in stun-locks until you die by repeated enemy attacks.

Combat and movment can be changed by selecting one of the four 'moods', they alter the distance and angle of the attack which a magic throwing ball. how fast you move and how you interact with other things.

There's some really nice music tracks worth listening to but others are more atmospheric.

Definitely worth a try if you like adventure/RPG/Puzzle games.
Given it's age some might want to get it on sale instead of it's full price.

A nice physics/puzzle platformer game in which you rotate the world around to either move objects or make it possible to reach new areas.
The levels start of quite simple and easy to work out but towards the end they can get quite confusing and require a lot of thinking and retrying.
You come across new mechanics throughout the levels.

It's possible to rewind time and undo every action you've made, going back how far you wish and attempt any part without having to redo the whole level. It's slow paced and you can really take your time on the levels.

The game is quite short which can be finished within a day and there's not much replay value.
There's no real story to follow but you can find various bits of text scattered around the world to read.

Simple art design but really well drawn and in grey scale to give each level a nice eerie atmosphere.
I got this in a humble bundle and it's not something I would personally buy but I have no complaints about the content in the game. It's well made and well thought out.
Worth it if you enjoy good challenging puzzles or if it goes on sale.

A Hellish puzzle platformer where the objective is to find a way to get yourself killed.
It's relatively short although the difficulty may make you spend a good amount of time trying to get through some really hard levels.
There's levels where you need to stay alive which may be a little confusing when you've been trying desperately to kill yourself, these are generally boss levels which you need to beat instead.

There's not much replay value other than to get any achievements you may have missed if you like collecting them.

It's not something everyone would enjoy as it can be a little frustrating.
The original released version was extremely buggy and left with the developers tools still openly available, it was eventually fully rewritten and fixed most of the issues.

It goes on sale quite often and might be worth grabbing during them, I got it for 95% off and the card drops paid for that so it was practically free. Not something I personally would've bought otherwise but there's nothing I would really complain about after the fix besides the overall difficulty of the game.

Worth trying out if you like a good challenge and got some spare money but probably not worth full price to everyone.

A fun and challenging logical puzzle game similar to MineSweeper.
Using the numbers to work out which tiles to mark.

The big difference between Hexcells and Minesweeper is that you never need to guess at any point, there's always a way to work out where to click.
Also, numbers can be shown on the outside of the grid and show a different symbol with the number to tell you how the tiles you need to mark are laid out.

Unlike Hexcells and Hexcells Plus, Hexcells Infinite has a random level generator in which will allow you to play new puzzles all the time.
It's also possible to make your own and share them with others or try theirs out.

If you wish to save a bit of money then I suggest only buying HexCells Infinite due to the fact you can play an 'infinite' amount of levels giving you many more hours of playtime.

A fun and simple challenging puzzle platforming game.

Make your way through various buildings without being seen (and more importantly, killed) by rewiring electric systems to either let you into rooms or even turn them into ways of killing guards.
A you play through the levels you will be able to improve your characters abilities.

The game itself is rather short and can be completed within a few hours however.
There's nothing wrong with the content available in the base game but it's a little too easy and quick.
It's got a nice story to follow along with and make your own choices in certain parts.

Fortunately, you are able to make your own levels if you like and upload them for others to try out or you can download other peoples creations and see how well you can do them.
If you're not interested in the Steam Workshop then I'd suggest getting it on sale as it's only a few hours bit of fun but it's definitely worth trying it out.

Another typical cash-grab clicker game..
Plenty of them out there over social sites and such.

You click a lot on the - poorly drawn - monsters, when it dies you get gold, that's used to spend on upgrading your damage so you can kill things quicker.. and that's literally all there is to it.
Little effort has gone into the game and nothing that makes it any better than the already existing clicker games.
It claims to have multiplayer however you have no interaction with other players, you just join a party in certain areas and everyone's clicks/dps goes towards the same creature. You may not even end up joining other people in the limited time and you can get through it without them if you've got high enough damage anyway. A relatively pointless aspect of the game and adds nothing to it.

It lists the “areas” as a feature but there’s really no difference between them other than the childish artwork.. which you really don’t need to care about in the slightest.

The item names are in hashtags and most are memes and references which i personally find #dull ...
You can use the items on the creatures that contain the same tag words, there’s plenty of items but they’re mostly the same thing just act on different creatures.

I've not played it since it was released so it's been a month since playing and getting around to writing a review. I've had no reason to go back to it.

The only good thing about this is that it’s short and thankfully there’s an end to it unlike most others, so if you like collecting achievements then you can get a few easily and free.
There’s certainly nothing “epic” about this game though.

A game where you have to wait for energy to use in order to play,
Completing a game of Hidden Objects within a limited time you will be reward you with random items which are used to complete collections, unlock new areas and complete quests.
It’s highly repetitive and the stories are pointless (you really don’t need to read a single word in the game.)
The quests are the same things over and over, find certain items, play a certain area or interact with the creatures walking around the world map.

You’re constantly shown "offers" of micro-transactions.

Achievements are a massive grind, you will have to repeat some parts up to 200 times and there’s very little variation between most of them.

Purely just a cash grab for anyone gullible enough to make the in-game purchases.
If you want free achievements then go for it, that's the only good thing I can say about this game if you like collecting them but expect some of them to take a long time.
