The original Pharaoh is one of my top games that I love to go back to playing.
This remake, while having some slight changes I'm not too keen on, is still a good way to play an old classic game without losing too much of the charm of the original.

Probably one of the slowest and most uninteresting idle/clicker game ever.
Very little to do and unrewarding.

Spark is a horizontal side scrolling bullet-hell shoot’em up game, unlike others in the genre where you have one single weapon, upgrades or weapon pickups, Spark brings a unique concept of giving you four different coloured shots, they each have different movement speeds and damage as well as heat.
When the different coloured shots collide they explode into patterns that spread out in various patterns and can also leave weaker bullets behind that can be hit too resulting in longer chains being created, as such you can turn two simple straight forward shots into a triple shot.

You can also do Super-Combos which generate static mine-like bullets in specific layouts based on the combo used, when these are triggered they set off a certain chain of sparks that are more advanced than causing two kinetic bullets to touch as they result in a larger area or coverage and provides you with more angles of attack this means, so instead of being able to only shoot forwards you can have reactions that send a number of bullets behind you.

Chains and super-combos must be used tactically as shots generate heat, this limits how much you can fire within an amount of time. Attacking too much causes you to become exhausted and requires you to wait for a full cool down before you can attack again thus putting you at risk from being overrun. The higher the tier of bullet used the more sparks and damage you can do but can quickly overheat.

You will be rewarded more for focusing on combos by having your score multiplier increased; keeping combos active results in you gaining more points. Being hit resets your multiplier.
There are three game modes and using them effectively and avoiding being hit will put you higher on the leader boards.

The first mode is Conquest, where you will be fighting against a long waves of attacks and bosses. You must make it all the way through with your starting lives as death results in starting from the beginning.

The second mode is Survival, In which you fight against an endless stream of enemies, you can also pick up active abilities to help you for a limited amount of time.

The third mode is puzzles, you will need to destroy fixed targets using the different sparks to navigate around walls and objects as you’re unable to move forwards. Here you start with 60 seconds and you gain 10 seconds for completing each puzzle of which there are 20 of.

All three modes have an arcade feel to it due to you needing to start from the beginning if you die or run out of time and leaving you fight for the online high-scores.

Recomended for anyone that loves shoot'em ups and a good arcade style challange.

The developers have been very active with the community, listening to all feedback fixing bugs and making changes to the game. A demo of the game is available,

• Game received for free from winning The Demo competition and doesn't effect my opion of the game.

Miner Mayhem has practically no content, you will have seen the whole game in less than 10 seconds. All you need to do is press left or right, or click on the left or ride side of the game.
The objective is to break the tower of rocks and avoid the random rocks sticking out of the side of the tower.
The game never changes or gets any harder, there’s no progression, the only replay value is beating your best scores, you can unlock other characters but they make no difference to game play and only replace the character’s image.
The game would be better suited on mobile devices for short durations.
In all honesty the game isn’t worth a penny, no thought or time has been put into making it and doesn’t give much entertainment.

Runes is a casual puzzle game with a simple mechanic.
The objective is to match the image shown by sliding the marbles along the grid in the directions that are shown on them to swap position with another marble.

The difficulty progressively get harder across the 120 levels and completing them in the least amount of moves becomes a challenge so completing them all with a gold star can give you many hours of game play, well worth of the low price.

There's a clean and easy to use interface to play on and has a nice sound track plus a level select screen to continue from where you left off or go back to retry previous levels and get a better turn rating.

Woodle Tree Adventure is a basic platform game in which you need to collect 3 drops of water to leave the level and that's about everything there is to it..

Along the way you can also collect berries that are used to buy some items which are for the most part cosmetic as far as I noticed, these also unlock steam achievements, in total you need to collect 3,000, not hard to do however there's around 100 berries on the levels so you will need to replay them over and over to get that many which isn't exactly fun to do.

The levels are really short, simple and not in the slightest bit challenging, most enemies don't attack and only a few will even move, there's no hazards' other than falling of the land. There's no hit-points so if you get hit you get sent back to the start of the level with all progress kept but there's no limit to lives so you can keep trying again as much as you want.

The worst thing about the game is the camera, There's no control over the rotation and the zoom is absolutely terrible and not really that helpful.

Overall this game feels like it's not completed, lacks content/features too easy and too short; to sum it up it's a "my first platformer game".
Unless you're getting this for a young kid it's not really worth buying.
There's not much to gain from this and any other half competent platformer would probably be better.
The game is solid enough in that there’s no real issues with it however a lot more is needed to justify it’s price despite it being cheap.

A simple yet fun mini-game where you need fire a ball at the paddel and hit it into the green wall which changes while avoiding the red. It starts of slow n easy and soon gets fast but you can take your time with it and fire it when you want.
There's not much else to really say about it, nothing to the game besides that.

Music's not bad although I do wish it would stay on instead of playing once and having to select it every time.

I wouldn't really say it's worth anything, they have got a giveaway for it so if you can grab it free then it's fun for a little while otherwise buying it's really just a way of supporting the devs.

Hero defence is a tower defence game which I was hoping to really enjoy but left me feeling somewhat disappointed.

It's got some good ideas with using up to five heroes which can move around instead of towers in fixed locations.
You can level up the heroes weapons and attach runes to sockets which effects their attack in the game when you 'charge' them up - the equivalent of upgrading a tower in other TD Games.
The heroes gain experience when you complete a level and gain permanent levels which reward you with skill points, these allow you to upgrade each heroes skills in their own tech tree.

Unfortunately there are too many problems with the game which really lets it down.

Firstly, there's very few enemy units. There are 5 monsters which are each weak to a different hero and then several similar bosses. At some points you need to decide which hero to bring into the field and where's best to place them but when you have all five out and there's only one.. and on some occasions two.. kinds of monster wave it really doesn't matter because you just put all five heroes together where the monsters are coming from and destroy them without any tactic needed.

Next, there are very few maps available, The game is padded out by having to repeat maps on a higher difficulty which gives you a star for each difficulty you complete each map on, however, you only need 17 stars to unlock the last level required for the final boss making the campaign really short. There's an additional map but that's only a requirement of 24 stars, given that you can get over 50 stars it makes half of the level difficulties pointless besides getting a higher reward. This leads onto another problem I have with the game..

Grinding.. in order to advance in the game you need gold coins and gems.. at first it's a reasonable amount but after a few levelling up the amount drastically increases. To upgrade weapons, it costs 5, 10, 20, 40, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 gems.. This needs to be done for all 5 weapons for a total of nearly 11k gems.
There's 2 ways of getting the gems, first is by completing challenges on the maps, Each map has one challenge which will reward you with a number of gems, completing them on easy gives you 5, normal gives 10, hard gives 15 and insane gives 20. These increments are so small and doesn't match up with the difficulty and time it takes to complete them making Level 1 on Easy being the quickest way to farm them.. meaning to get the required gems for levelling up your weapons you will need to repeat the exact same thing 2,175 times. Even if you did the farming on insane it's still 544 times you will need to complete them but these are a lot harder and can be less reliable to complete as well as take longer than doing Easy 4 times. This leaves you with more loading time than game time.
Gems can also be used to upgrade the forge which give a small improvement to your heroes and this can cost more than upgrading weapons. There's two rune packs you can purchase using gems, one is 100 gems and the other is 300 gems.
All of this adds up to an absolute ridiculous amount of farming maps over and over and over again and not giving you anything new to do.
The second method of obtaining gems is buy converting gold coins into gems at the bank, To get the most efficiency out of this you need to upgrade the bank allowing you to trade in higher amounts of gold for a better ratio of gems and a higher discount on the cost but to upgrade the bank it costs a lot of gold coins in the first place so it will take a while to farm the gold before you can get a nice amount of gems coming in from the bank as well. You will also need the gold to upgrade the academy which allows you to level up the heroes skills and gain more XP.

Having this second currency and the stupidly high amount required suggests it was intended to be a premium currency for a Facebook/mobile game where you can buy your way through and not having to do this grinding. While it's nice that there aren't micro-transactions they seem to have forgotten to make the game a little more friendly to get by playing the game.

The interface (dragging the heroes onto the level) and the fixed camera angles also suggest that it was aimed for mobile gaming. While I can just about tolerate them both they're not exactly great.

Once you've completed the campaign there's an endless mode, this has 500 waves so it's not endless as such but it's extremely difficult to achieve given that even with a highly decked out team of heroes you are massively out numbered and they seem to take a lot of damage so getting through the first few waves can be a challenge.. Unfortunately unless you win all 500 waves the reward you get is absolutely horrible and not worth the time and effort it takes leaving endless mode pointless unless you want to just burn some time for the sake of it.

My final problem with this game is the multiplayer, I find the whole system for it terrible.
There's two modes.. PvP and Co-op.
PvP can be done in ranked or a friendly match, There's only a couple of maps available for this and works by picking one of the three monsters displayed to be sent to your opponents side of the map. Personally this doesn't appeal to me and find it really dull. You're given a decent collection of runes to set up your heroes so you don't need to worry about other people being able to get a greater setup than you which is nice.

Co-op, which is what I got the game for, is abysmal. There's one map and that's it.
On top of that you need to unlock your heroes in the campaign so co-op isn't fully available to you until both players have progressed enough through the campaign meaning you can't jump right into this mode - like I did which was a shot in the leg for me. After we both unlocked characters and got some better set up we still found ourselves out numbered and unable to deal with the first few waves.
The devs have said they plan on changing this very soon to allow people to be able to jump in quicker without having to progress through the story first, I'm not sure if that will change the difficulty and setup or not. So this may still mean you will need to grind for gems/money to get better runes and levelling up your heroes plus their skills.

Currently at the time of writing this, there's an event going on which rewards players with gems and money a few people can also win rune bags which contain runes I believe and tickets which can get you Razor products as a prize these can also gain you "additional rewards" which i assume will be gold/gems, Steam keys for the game can also be won. These are rare to get but what makes this annoying is that each time a person wins any of these a message is displayed across the screen and are incredibly irritating and distracting. (there's also a bug that prevents certain features working while these messages are displayed which can take several minutes to finish displaying)

Overall, the game has some nice ideas, an interesting concept for a Tower Defence game but there's such a lack of content that makes the game feel underwhelming unfinished. The grinding in the game is not in the slightest bit fun.
You can get some hours of entertainment and might be worth it when it's on sale (I bought at 70% off and is a reasonable price) but at full price and in its current state it's not worth it in my opinion.
A lot of work needs to be done to this game to make it friendlier to play and more content is needed before I can recommend this at full price or as a finished game. I hope that changes are made to fix these problems because it has a really good chance of being a great game and different from all the other TD games available.

Sorry that it's such a long review but I feel that a lot of these needed to be addressed and things I wish will get tweaked to be a more enjoyable game as I really wanted to like this.

A simple to control puzzle game in which you move a cube with coloured sides to crush matching coloured plants and collect gems.
The game is quite easy but does have a nice progression of difficulty and introduces new obstacles along the way.
You can get through the game fairly quickly but getting 3* in all levels will give you more playtime and a much better challenge.
It doesn't get frustrating when you fail to reach the 3 stars as it's fun to try figure out how you can do it better.

I've had no problems playing but there's a few things that could improve the game such as a quicker reset and a few other features to make it more user friendly which are on the developers to do list.

Overall I've enjoyed playing it and It's got a nice art style and the music is good too.
I believe achievements are to be added so I'll be looking forwards to completing all of them when they're available.

A decent game for anyone that likes puzzles and a more casual games.
The price is reasonable for the amount of content there is however due to the simplicity and not having anything new to do after getting 3 stars in all levels some people may want to wait for a discount if money is a bit tight or prefer games to last much longer.
