So from playing both versions of Guacemelee! at 100% achievements, I can give a proper review.

This version of the game has more features and levels than gold edition but this also made the game easier (looking at you intensio). The achievements were cut in haft (so 30 achievements to unlock unlike 60 in gold) and getting costumes with special abilities require silver coins where they are found from completing arenas or chests (by the way Pinata costume doubles any chest, this includes silver chest so you may want to invest into that early).

They remove some stuff like the flashing lights from getting power ups (thank god) and some undodgeable attack that some enemies have.

Overall, I still have fun and this version supports 4 players instead of 2 apparently!

I'd recommend this over gold.
