I play the Steam version only on the Steam deck, so ignore my low hours... This review is talking about the Social Club version.

I, along with many other players have been unable to migrate our online characters from legacy to enhanced. The enhanced edition is already flooded with blatantly modded accounts, yet many legitimate players and (some) modded accounts cannot. It almost seems random? Rockstar hasn't even said a word on this either, other than a very awful article claiming it uses some sort of algorithm to detect cheaters.

Outside of this, this version does not support text chat which is crucial for online games on PC, as most players don't use mics and we don't have a good messaging system like on consoles. Other than that, this looks and runs significantly better and that's about it... would be cool if I could play it.

You walk around from mission to mission spamming energy drinks, just to occasionally be shot by an enemy that spawned 5 feet behind you.

That's about all there is to this game until A-Life is implemented.

It's a phenomenal remake with a few minor issues, but overall it's the best SILENT HILL game in 20 years.

Yet another Unreal Engine 5 game with major performance issues.

As of 3/18/23 there is a RCE (Remote code execution) exploit.
You are prone to getting your personal information and computer compromised.

It's a terrible PS1 emulator full of slowdown and audio problems, Revolver Ocelot was nearly impossible because the NTSC version couldn't maintain 30fps after continuing if I died.

16x the loading screens.

Amazing game honestly, but i cannot recommend in it's current state. The matchmaking system will have you waiting for 5 minutes to play a 10 minute match, and will fail to find a replacement if 1 person leaves in the pre-match lobby. I've only played 24 matches in my 10 hours on record.

There is no reason for the pre-match lobby to have a 3 minute countdown either, and there seriously needs to be a ban penalty for people leaving lobbies over not getting Connie who needs to be nerfed anyways.

Disappointing PC port of what is an amazing game, performance could be a lot better and the default control scheme is just not appropriate for keyboard and mouse.

No Steam trading cards is also quite a bummer, wait for a sale.
