its hard and there are tons of details. lots of base preparation options and gear options that matters for your character. project zomboid feels like an actual survival game where each day you might die and lose your character.

every once in awhile you buy a game off a steam sale that doesn't sit un-played forever. wreckfest surprised me as it is now one of my favorite racing games. if you like the arcadey semi-sim racing games then definitely get wreckfest. fun multiplayer servers with various rulesets

New Way to be bored

If I had to pick one game from my Steam library that I hate the most it would be this game.

Really fun social deception game. Game mechanics do a good job to incentivize splitting up the group (good for infected) vs sticking together. Lots of opportunity to lie, make false accusations, etc. Sometimes there is an opportunity to forego concealing your role as infected and just go for a kill or two giving you the number advantage to win, but you have to recognize these situations.

The details are well-done too: the items/tools that you can get (and infected can as well) make the game interesting and can also be used as part of the infected's bluff.

I really want to like this game, but I feel like the gameplay becomes a chore. There also isn't as much opportunity for the social deception part as there should be. Winning and losing didn't feel exciting, nor did discovering who the traitor's were. I think the game elements just don't quite mesh well together for a fun and interesting social deception game. And the shooting is really janky.
