Kool game for Kool times

Great immersive world, solid graphics, well thought out systems.

Cannot level past 23 without joining a covenant, this ruined the game for me.

Super Animal Royale, or SAR for short, is a great not-so violent take on the popular genre. SAR does a great job of providing an set of good intuitive controls that gives it's easy to pick up and play appeal.

On the surface, SAR comes off mildly childish. You see this with the lack of blood splashing everywhere, the play-on-words dead screen send offs and a light-hearted poof as your gravestone appears. Your chosen animal, of which there are diverse choices which stand out from each other, can be customized with evolutions and various stylish clothing choices. Skins can be obtained through Easter Eggs, completing some PvP tasks or through an in-game shop with a micro-transaction option in addition as a way to spend currency earned through playing the game.

Overall the gameplay is rather simple to pickup, and genuinely feels rewarding when you get better at the game. The base controls feel almost perfect, but none the less the items, weapon variation, special ability, utility item and health consumables are nicely implemented and fairly balanced. Time to Kill can vary greatly, but skill is a major factor in quick kills, your own luck also appears to have a devastating effect on time to kill mechanics also.

With a smooth solid game play experience that is youth friendly, this title can be expected to deliver countless hours of replay-ability.

Nice grinding progression
