In-game cutscenes get no background music/sound, only voices get played, and even then, the voices are out of sync.

Steam forums are full of users with the same problem.

Can't recommend this game in the current state, and I do not know if the original Darksiders was like this.

EDIT: The original Darksiders DOES NOT HAVE THESE PROBLEMS. And the graphical differences are very little. Play the original one in stead.

I will change my review if this gets fixed.

I initially only got interested in the game because of the art style. But I ended up enjoying it a whole lot more, I thought it would be another linear FPS with a little stealth mechanics, but it turns out it's quite the opposite, sure the story begins a bit linear, but once you really start the game, you have quests to complete, and the main story to follow.

You can pretty much approach the game in several ways, the guns blazing way, the stealthy way, or mix the two. I really liked that there is more than 1 way of advancing through the story, and the maps and areas sure have more to them if you explore. The RGP style elements of the game sure add depth to it too, you can enhance your character with abilities that might come in handy depending of your play style, or depending on certain events in the game, or.. not.

The AI is not the brightest though, I recommend playing this on the hardest setting, but the stealh portion of it sure is solid. (get it?.. solid)

The soundtrack is outstanding and it sure meets the whole ambience of a futuristic setting. And the story it self is deep and well written.

The boss fights are a little dissapointing, but fun.

Over all, it is a really good game.

This game is a good little jewel. The gameplay is exellent, tight controls and full of action, the music is superb, the story? amazing for a little game.

This game is awesome. Plain and simple, it expands on the story on Borderlands 2, you can see how Handsome Jack gets to be the villain of the previous (next) game. The music is a mixed bag, but it's alright. Gameplay wise, same formula as Borderlands 2, only there are a few changes, like low gravity zones and a few mechanics added such as the oxigen tanks. Graphics are more colorful even though is the same graphics engine. Lots of weapons, excellent voice acting, Jack is the best character in the game.

So yea, go and get it, I enjoyed it a lot. 8/10

A nice arcadey sniper game. Bought it on sale, and well worth the $0.99 I payed. Story is rather the standard military one, characters are forgettable, soundtrack is cool. Gameplay is fluid and it has it's moments.

So after who knows what I did, the game finally decided to load. So I changed my review from bad, to pending.

So far the controls are fluid, I have not played MK9 that much, but I have no issues there. The music is great and the sound effects too.

Edit 2: I am liking it so far. A lot of gameplay options. The story mode is alright... the only thing I did not stop noticing is the fact that all the cinematics are pre rendered videos, I do not like that, since it just increased the disk space the installation uses. But oh well.

Edit 3: I LIKE IT. BUY IT.

I did not find this game appealing at all. Then I gave it a try, and turns out it's a lot of fun!. Neat hand drawn graphics, tight controls, lots of items, randomly generated dungeons, awesome music, wicked story and characters, etc.

What's best is that you can have short bursts of gameplay that range from 5 to 10 mins per session.

So yea, pick it up, I know that there are newer versions now, but this one's still got its charm.

If you're like me and you enjoyed METAL GEAR AC!D when it first came out on the PSP, then you'll love Invisible Inc. Sure, there are no card decks here, but the turn based stealth strategy core mechanics are there. The difficulty level can be customized to your tastes, but even on the easiest setting, it can be very challenging and fun.

The levels are procedurally generated giving it a huge replay value. The game contains RogueLike elements to it, so do not get disencouraged if you fail a few times, you get valuable exp that unlocks more characters and items, that will make your next walkthroughs a bit easier.

The music is outstanding and it really makes the tactical espionage theme of the game shine. The whole graphics style is also really cool on a futuristic corporate world.

Main story is a little short. I only bought it for the co-op element, which is fun, but short.

Buy it on steam sales only.

Hotline Miami covers a whole lot about the 80's slasher film genre. From its twisted story, to its bloody nature. The whole ambiance of the game is really deep despite a simple retro 2D graphic engine. The controls are pretty tight, and the gameplay makes you don't even blink when the action starts. The stages are way longer and more difficult thant he first game, and the story covers many characters. The music? Superb. Its got that 80's synthwave feel and many of music authors are not main stream, which makes it cool. Specially music from Perturbator, Mitch Murder and Carpenter Brut. Look them up, you won't be dissapointed.
