Sure its got that.

-Does it feel unique compared to other games?
The art is a good flare but it is similar to others in the genre, but I think its still very worth it. (like 4.99 bruh thats cheap for this much content)

Yeah man, its there for the price point for sure.

-Card game?
If you have played the card game in FFXIV its real similar to that, but its fun

-Will you keep playing it?

UPDATE: So, its a little more challenging that I thought when I wrote the review, which is good, Ive had more fun with this game than I thought, REALLY worth 4.99 lets me real. Aiming for all the achievements

Personally this game is fantastic, no it doesnt really bring anything new to the table of the genre, however it brings a lot of the positive elements of it strongly. At first I thought this was going to be a quick game, with not much growth but a good way to kill time, I was wrong, REALLY WRONG. I keep finding myself playing it even when I get off im right back in. There is so much to do and to unlock as well as the theme of the game does speak to me on a personal level. I would say this game is like a blend of The Binding of Isaac and Hades if they could have a child. Its such a cool game and I hope others in time will find this hidden gem and introduce more people to it, I know personally I will.

Well, this might just be the game for you, The Cult of Ron has answered all of these followers prayers and more and growing by the day, plenty of homes, perks, cool mechanics, fishing, and KNUCKLEBONES bro, like roll the dice, why not? Id like to see the game grow and expand in the future but frankly its a working formula for sure, highly recommend but would say keep an eye on the time (Top left of the screen and really your actual time because it too shall pass).

I'm getting more and more into this game the longer I play it. From my standpoint of someone who grew up right in the golden age of the platformer collectaton I must say that this game literally brought a couple of tears to my eyes of the feelings and memories it brought back to when I played Mario, Banjo and Kazooie, Conkers bad fur day, and just god knows how many other titles I've experienced. The game is quarky and keeps you wanting to see all the different ways they have cleverly warped the game so that you collect everything and find all the hidden goodies in store for you. Normally I'm not a fan of indie titles, but with this game, I'm a sucker for no doubt. I normally would of overlooked this game but something about it grabbed me and I'm glad it did. I recommend it for anyone looking for some retro feels that bring the love of the sunday afternoon platformer maraton back into your life because it has for me. Now excuse me, I'll be playing the game now, chao~!

AFTER 100% CLEAR:

Forget what I said earlier, this game literally was just plain incredible. The way the maps and secrets were designed were so well I had to keep trying to figure out what to do next and how and where the last items were. Finding and figuring out puzzles, patterns, and even learning a new languange just to beat this game really shows its creative muscle for sure. Highly recommend this game for someone looking for a good challenge and just a great way to kill some time.

My Hours shown are not accurate as I have played this game since closed beta, so from the standpoint of someone who has followed this game from begining till now, I'll list some of the pros and cons

Pros:

-The Passive tree is vast and expansive which allows for literally millions of different possibilities
-The game host a lot of weekly races which allow you to win prizes if you can place high or just enjoy the challenge of the race
-The skills are not based on classes so if you can think it, you can make it.
-It is a challenge, which is good for people looking for a game with some bite
-Uniques arent the best items in the game but they can lead to some of the best builds around and dont break the game by any means
-The story is pretty good if you want to read it and understand the concept of the game
-If you enjoyed the Diablo series and the Torchlight series, I myself being a fan recommend this.
-The voice actors for the characters can be funny, my mana is god
-Plays really well, but when it Dsyncs it is brutal

Cons:
-Going through normal, cruel, and merceless can become very repedative. For me being a strictly hardcore character player I really visit this problem often
-Not to much for me, but there is no form of market but to shout out your items or what you want to get in chat, for me this isnt an issue, but some people will not like this
-Bank is limited unless you buy bank space via cashshop, I dont like this about the game, but it is not to pricey to get a good amount of them really.
-Genderlocked characters
-Dsync issues are known to be real killers, pun intended

All in all I would really give this game a solid 8/10 easy and would tell anyone to give this game a try and if you have friends to play with, get them to join you so that it is more fun!
