I really wanted to like this game. I really, really did. But there was one core problem with my experience, it was way too hard. I started the game as a sorcerer because I'm not fond of melee combat, but in all my time played I haven't even made it past undead settlement.

You see, one of the first bosses in the game is in the tutorial area, and it took me literally 10 hours to get past it. 10 HOURS in the tutorial area.. In what world is this acceptable?!? Not even 5% of the playerbase will make it past this point, and they do this so that they could make as much money as possible for making as little as possible... Not to mention the dragon boss, you need to find a bow & arrow to kill him, hidden somewhere in the castle, but he has around 4k HP and you only deal 12 with each arrow, and you need to buy the arrows for a large sum of souls (which by the way is a very stupid currency, why not just use gold instead of trying to be a hipster?) So this is around 50k souls to kill the boss, and literally an hour of constantly shooting and hiding from the dragon.

After taking the dragon to half HP I gave up, and I can assure you I will never play another dark souls game again.

Ludex can be challenging if you never have tried a darksouls game before. But seriously, 10 hours?? And wtf did you fire arrows at the dragon?

nice bogus review, anyone can look at your achievements on your profile and know that you are way past the undead settlement.

i cant tell if you actually enjoy the game, which is what reviews are for, so maybe a little honesty is in order here?

How the hell do you spend 10 hours on Iudex. Were you playing with a steering wheel or something? I'm not trying to be insulting, but I'm genuinely confused on how you could have that much trouble.

On the dragon, you don't need to kill him. You can just run past him.
