I don't have the bestest of computers so while I expected some rough performance (because of Capcom's previous endeavor with Dragon's Dogma 2) I wasn't expecting it to be this terrible, and it has only gotten less consistent. Monster Hunter World also had a rough performance as well, but at least it didn't take months to get it up and running with no issues. We are 4 months into this game's release and besides VRAM consumption nothing else has changed.
Visually the game feels blurry especially when the weather of the regions are in effect, it all melds into into each other and makes it hard for me to tell what's going on at some points in fights.

I really wish I could enjoy this game more, I really wish I could play it without having to spend a gazillion to build a new computer, I love the new monsters and the design of the weapons and armour are all pretty, the gameplay to me is a big improvement for some of my favourites weapon types.
But all of that is held back by just profits over player satisfaction. Please don't make the same mistake I did, don't buy the game. If I could still refund this, I really would.

DLC should have been priced lower. The content itself is pretty good, the new items aren't broken but aren't useless either, the new stages are good and the variants as well. As always, some of the hardest music ever created.
HOWEVER, the DLC released in a unpolished state that instead of giving us one good unified version for all platforms, ported over bugs and implementations of certain aspects of the console versions to PC. Physics are now tied to frame rate as opposed to delta time, which breaks physics for Acrid and Loader, skills that deal damage on colliding with enemies don't work properly, such as both of Acrid's Utility SKill and Seeker's Utility Skill as far as I've played. Numerous clipping bugs, softlocks on the Rallypoint Delta stage.
This update brought more harm than good. I implore modders to not fix anything, the executives at Gearbox should deal with the consequences of forcing the development team to rush to release the DLC.

I consider this game to be a perfectly balanced introduction to the Digimon series, especially if you're coming over from a certain other creature collection game . It's a turn based RPG with some turn manipulation via statuses, weaknesses, resistances, battle items, the standard.
Keep in mind that there's two stories in this game. The game is relatively long, i'd say about 40 hours PER STORY, but that's on the lower side for JRPGs I'd say.
Cyber Sleuth story is more a light hearted story about friendship, on the contrary Hacker's Memory has more mature theming to it, and quite a lot darker as well but has some "anime" moments to not push the game past its intended rating.
I don't have much to say about the visuals, it is a rerelease of a PSVITA game, to be honest considering the time it was released back in the day, I'd say it makes it a little charming that everything kinda looks like toys.
I'd say the only flaw stands from some boss battles having some annoying skills or status, or having to farm XP quite heavily when you decide to change team members (which will most likely happen because you can devolve and evolve Digimon).

I hope we get news about Cyber Sleuth 2, or just another entry for the Digimon Story entries. I'm glad Bandai Namco has been giving the franchise more care.

Nothing I could write about this game can describe the experience I've had. In short, it's a modernized version of the original Nier Replicant/Gestalt, combat has been polished and so have the visuals, withouth taking away the drab and muted atmosphere of the original.
And now for the long:
Much like Nier: Automata, the sidequests can be very tedious. but that's what they are, just sidequests. From someone who's done them all, they certainly add to the experience but they aren't necessary for a fullfilling time with the game. In the words of the famous Grimoire Weiss: "Just once, I would enjoy a quest that can be solved in the general vicinity of the asker..."
The story is quite something, that's the best way I can think of to put it. It will take you on a ride or it might not, if it clicks with you, that's great, if it doesn't, oh well, I still hope you have some fun along the ride. A ride filled with great music and setpieces and a merry band of misfits who constantly butt heads :)

PS: I hope you go down the rabbit hole of playing Drakengard as well

Early Access Review
The game itself is a wonder: beautiful sound design and a nice art style, very toony and vibrant. Due to being early access it's lacking content, maybe a bit too much. And I would recommend you buy it when the full release comes out.
However, with the lack of a roadmap and various rumours of extra monetization being implemented, lord knows when, stay out of it. It's already quite a steep price for this game.
Now let's adress other issues: the poor handling of the ban appeal system. Legitimally wrongly banned players receive the same copy pasted response after days of waiting:
"Thank you for referring your Temtem ID. It was, indeed, Lellouch.

After manually reviewing your case and your account, we are sorry to inform you that your ban appeal has been rejected. Your account has been banned from the game because we've found several evidence of clear breaches to our Terms & Conditions.

Please note that, according to what we already shared publicly on our social media, abusing exploits, using bots or macros or using any kind of cheats/hacks can get you banned from the game. With that in mind, you should have a clear idea of which were the actions that led you to this suspension. This matter was clearly stated on our user's Terms of use as well. Please find the specific section that refers to this matter, attached here.

We will not continue providing further correspondence regarding this matter and this ticket will be now closed.

Thank you,
Crema Support"

The game doesn't have any reason to be an online only experience other so they can take away your right to play the game. The ban wave of February was covered all over the place because they got all cocky and publicly stated it, but what about all the players banned in March for not playing the game for a month? Nothing. Crema is abusing the steam ban system and silencing players that come out about it.
Don't support this game or its developers!

Change your attittude Crema, or your game will end just like many others, a Kickstarter failure due to poor decisions and not listening to your community.

The small gameplay video on this game's page immedietly destroyed my expectations, but I kept my hopes up. Maybe there's was something else that it wasn't showing. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
I've played through all the "lives" and it's not slightly frightening. I would complain about the use of Unity but I've seen better products come out of it. The game's assets lack luster and overall, it's unpolished. I would give a few points to try it, even if it was just for its graphical design but that's impossible. Despite being stated as "A very short psychological game dealing with isolation, entrapment and the nature of fear.", it's disapointing for the small experience it is.
