Oh boy. From my first game, really ever, Half Life 2 on PS3 (yes, I know), to Half Life: Alyx has been an 8 year journey. Several thousand dollars later in PC hardware and in Steam purchases, I've become an avid PC gamer and Valve fan. Glad to say that Alyx lived up to the hype. Best VR game out there, best Half Life game out there... yet.

:)

Amazing film. Great cinematography, set design, acting. They made an 8-bit esque game turn into a theater-ready film. 5/7

Early Access Review
Despite me returning it once for a refund, I ended up buying it again.

You may not play it every single day of every single week, but when you play it, you will love it. It's realistic, and fun to do.

GTA V is fun for single player and modded experiences. Online, however, is beyond saving at this point. If you are looking for an experience to share right out of the box with friends, look elsewhere. GTA Online for PC is a mess of hackers and modders that will ruin any fun you try to have, sometimes several times over. Unless you are willing to put the time and effort to try a third party multiplayer experience, online multiplayer is out of the picture.

Other than that, graphics are still good given it's age, gameplay is solid, and the scenery is pretty great.

Payday 2 is one of those games that stuns me. The thing that stuns me about Payday 2 is it's price: Why is it so cheap? Before I played the game, I figured it was a letdown of massive proportions, given that I got it for free on a free weekend. The amount of content, depth of gameplay, and breadth of difficulty options makes it a great experience from the very first heist that you will inevitably fail, to the most complex solo stealth heist.

Playing with friends makes the experience 10 times better. Being able to coordinate different phases of action, escapes, and flights from police is amazing.

Star Trek Online is in an interesting position. Star Trek as a franchise has very little video game options at present. There are no major, well maintained games save for STO. If you want to get a Star Trek space experience, try Legacy or Bridge Commander. They provide more solid experiences at a lesser cost. STO is a grindfest or a wallet leech, depending on which path you want to go down.
If you want a star trek experience with on ground/third person experiences, STO is your only bet.

Overall, look into other older options before you invest in ST:O.
