I'm an old gamer. 57, and 45 years of that a gamer. I've had the privilege to see many firsts; the dawn of decent gaming graphics, improvements in sound, speed, 3D environments, the list is endless. All that to say, I've seen a lot.

I'll make this short.

If you like D&D, and want to immerse yourself into a world where you truly can control pretty much everything about your characters, like you would in a live D&D session, this game is for you. Buy it now. Don't wait for a sale. It's more than worth the full asking price. It is not perfect... I have encountered some minor bugs, but nothing game breaking, and nothing that impacted my enjoyment of the game. (And when I say minor, I really mean minor. I'm a QA software lead and have been debugging software since I was 20.)

So, that's it. Buy this game. Now. Have fun with it for a LONG time! I rarely think of replaying a game before I finish it the first time, but I am already planning replays with different character builds and I'm not even half way into this game.

I see jokes and memes all the time about this game being re-released... play it, and you'll know why. This is more than a game, it's an experience. Walking though a beautiful world with music that takes you as close to being in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings as you can get is just a pleasure. Voice acting is incredible, and big names like Christopher Plummer and Max Von Sydow are NOT just phoning in their performances. If you want an experience that will take you to another world of myth and magic, this is the one.

Fallout 4 may not be everything a Fallout 'purist' will be happy with, but to deny this is a great game is simply posturing. Fallout 4 is a great game. So is Fallout New Vegas. So is Fallout 3. And 2. and 1. Just play them. End of line.

Before writing anything, I want to make clear I am an old gamer... 51 this year. I love games. All kinds of games, but especially RPGs. And I don't dislike a game very easily.

I wanted to like Bard's Tale. I really did. I played the original RPG Bard's Tale games twenty odd years ago. And I could not stand playing this game for more than 10 minutes. I then deleted it from my system. Really bad controls, very bad camera positioning, and did I mention the controls? Bad. Really, really bad. Won't give this game a second chance bad.

:p

Next game, please...

It's Borderlands! BORDERLANDS! I shouldn't have to say more. Fantastic immersive FPS with a fun cartoon edge that tones down the darkness hiding within. (And believe me, it's pretty dark in some of those corners.) It's like a more fun Mad Max world, best played on a PC. Lots to do here, trust me... one of my Top 10 Games of All Time.

Early Access Review
I was walking around a town when suddenly 5 zombies started to chase me down the street. i died. i then proceeded to respawn and right away find a rifle and 40 rounds for it, alond with a small childs backpack that was used to hold canned beans and peaches, Pipsi and NotaCola. after wandering aimlessly for around an hour i had a decent amount of loot, i investigated a factory and proceeded to climb a ladder, suddenly i felt an extream pain in my leg and I died. i respawned and my friends joined the server i was on, they had met at the other side of the world, i asked them how i would get to them, they told me to follow the coast untill i found them, i walked along the coast for 2 hours and it turned out i had passed them, we back tracked and i found them and now i am fully armed. and now i am forever known as "The Coast Wanderer" for that time i walked along the coast for 2 hours while constantly having zombies chasing me, weilding only a wrench. i almost died three times before i found them, after trying to kill a zombie with a wrench after hitting it 20 times. 12.3/10
