wow.

I went into this game with little word from anyone, only a few bits and bobs of gameplay snippets.
So when I got this game from a charity bundle, and then again, and again, I thought I'd claim a code for myself. And wow. This game.

I could easily give this game a 10/10, I would only say some very minor QOL changes would be nice. But yea, wow, this game. It's funny, it's thought-provoking, it's engaging and overall it's an amazing journey.
While the game has a few challenge achievos and one whopping "just get all logs" (somehow missed about half a dozen!?) overall you could ignore these and have a fantastic experience, except for one, do check the gift shop :)

TL;DR: preeeeeeetty much a 10/10, fun stuff if you enjoy games like Portal

Fun casual collecathon, would recommend for a tenner.
The writing surprised me quite a bit!
Might even be a decent game to give to a kiddo.

For the devs, would suggest lowering slightly prices or increasing money gained slightly. And for Junk to be easier to track "post-game" And spread the bugs a bit more evenly^^

Sick game, goof art, UI and just nice vibes, but much like real life borders suck and are annoying

This was previously a way different review. And right now, I think the game itself is pretty good BUT the performance is still quite finicky and requires a lot of hoops and jumps to fix it yourself... somewhat.
The gameplay is fun, bit of repetition in variety but plenty of content to explore, the story is nice but not like super crazy as of right now, and overall I'd say it's fun. I would say I am over halfway through the *entire* game, I'm doing every quest I can find and trying to explore as much I can possibly do. Some miss-able interactions are still there like the first game, wish there was a bit more of a hint, perhaps at the oracles, that guides you towards missing content. I'm enjoying the gameplay loop a lot right now, it scratches that ADHD itch for me.

But I cannot suggest you to buy it as of right now with the issues I am having with it, the *alright* but content game, and the MTX which prey on those with lack of inhibition. he MTX add very little value, but they just shouldn't belong in there, cheap, plentiful or what have you, no is no.

Verdict, wait for fixes and/or a discount.
Hope to see post-launch updates if not even a Dark Arisen type of DLC like the first game had.
