Factorio is a very enjoyable game if you like automation and logistics, and slowly building something complex from scratch.
Also, there's staving off ever more aggressive alien onslaughts as the air pollution from your factory increases, but eventually, you get to a point where you can automate that as well, and focus on growing your factory.

The Factory Must Grow.

Please, Don't Touch Anything 3D is a nice visual upgrade from the original 2D game, though I must say that I am disappointed in the developers for not fixing the issue of the "Completionist" achievement not unlocking unless you fulfill the requirements for all other achievements in both the VR and non-VR version of the game, rather than just one of them, as it (as far as I've been able to determine) makes 100%-ing the game impossible on a technicality without a VR headset.

Update (March 16th, 2022): I gave this game a try again, and Completionist is still unattainable without a VR headset.

As much as I liked the game play itself, I don't like the fact that the Elusive Targets are now apparently permanently unplayable, and with them, there are things in the game that can never be unlocked by me.

Yeah, sure, I could've completed all of them when they were happening the first and second time, but life happened, and so I couldn't.

It'd be another thing if there were more chances, 'cause really, in a single-player game, what's the point of not having everything be unlockable somehow, aside from punishing players for not playing the game?

A good and fun game for getting someone into UNIX-like operating systems.

Well crafted, great soundtrack.

Can definitely recommend.

Caveat emptor.

I've played this game enough to get all the achievements for it, and, in the end, though I liked it, and it definitely has potential, I found it lacking in ways, and have to recommend against it, until those issues are fixed.

First off, if you lose the RV by losing the people driving it, there's no way to recover it, or start on a new one; at the very least, you should be able to go on a mission to recover it, and whatever is left of the supplies, as well as the bodies, and likely have to repair it enough in situ that it could be returned to the shelter, but would then have to be properly repaired to use it like before.

Secondly, the Stasis mode, while a neat spin on standard gameplay, seems to be a bit broken.
It's possible to lose the game, in a sense, due to two family members dying in the shelter, while the others are away scavenging, and if there are mutants present outside the shelter when they try to get back, they won't be able to return.
Eventually, the worms will get to the reactor, disable it, and everything will shut down, but there is no game over screen.

While the two family members outside are still alive, they can't get back in, and apparently also not die either, so it's a stalemate.

I played the original tablet game back when it came out, and this version is definitely an upgrade, visually speaking.

However, the controls aren't ideal.

Understandably, there's no multi-touch without a touch screen, and no motion sensing without an internal gyroscope, so Fireproof had to make some adjustments, at the cost of immersion.

I personally feel like these games lend themselves best to the mobile devices they were developed for.

That said, it's not a terrible port, and it is still fully playable.

(From memory, I was able to complete the game in about an hour — with hints disabled.)

Although I feel like this version of the game puts The Room out of its element, I'm still going to recommend it for its upgraded visuals.

(Also, I'm looking into the possibility of making a configuration for the Steam Controller that utilizes its internal gyroscope in a way similar to how the original game did with my Nexus 7.)

"Sturges? Tell her."

It's an alright Fallout game, but yeah... Bethesda. Bugs galore. Wish they'd either make a new engine that actually works properly, or put in a lot more effort to fix bugs, whichever works best... but let's face it, that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

If you really want to buy it, get it on sale, and be prepared to hunt down fixes for the graphical glitches that still tend to happen more commonly on machines with AMD graphics.

The most frustrating thing for me (so far) was the rainbow noise textures; first time, they covered everything - turned AA down a notch, and they disappeared, only to reappear on a smaller scale a few hours later (when I was at about 10.8 hours in, at which point I didn't feel like faffing about with settings, and just decided to take a break).

And of course, some places in the game tend to get really low-res textures up close when you first get to them, to the point where you need to reload the game (though that is neither a guaranteed nor permanent fix).

Update: I have now gone through the process of manually optimizing the textures (yes, manually, since in this case, automating the process = copyright violation).
It took me a while, and I don't really think it is worth that much hassle, but it works.

Really, since you kinda have to go through that with AMD graphics, I recommend it even less now.

Update 2: Turns out the manual optimization does nothing for the rainbow noise stuff, so yeah... unless you have a computer with nVidia card, or can afford getting one, don't bother with this game.
