How can you tell if the game is balanced or not after playing 2 hours? There has been at least 10 balance patches during Beta and developers have commited to never stop balancing the game. Just give it more time and learn what character is good and bad at. It was never inteded that every character has same chances fighting face to face. Each character has its own specific role. Some are for defending, some for attacking, some are slow tanks, some are sneaky and agile. Do you really want a "scout" style character to be equal in face to face fight with a "tank" character? That just doesn't make any sense :)

The game has a big learning curve, give it some time and you'll also start slaying enemies, once you know what to do.
