This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. This game is a gem! Genuinely, one of the most fun I've had in a long time! This is the actual game of the year, the fact that it didn't get nominated for goty is robbery.

This, by no means, is a perfect game. It has some jank (which is expected from a sonic game) some infuriating moments when you're traversing the world, like hitting a speed boost you couldn't see because you were going to fast then getting locked in a memory token sequence. This happens a lot. I accidentally sequence broke the game at some point, luckily a recent auto save allowed me to back track a little. Even with all the jank, this is my favorite Sonic title that has come out. The soundtrack is kick ass, the boss fights look gorgeous, and moving as fast as you do when you're full on rings makes for a great time. I would recommend this game to anyone. This game was pure fun, I actually didn't want it to end! I'm looking forward to the dlc that is planned for this game!

This game is most definitely gonna win GOY 2022. You run into some frame rate issues here and there but for me, personally, it was never game breaking. This game stole 118 hours of my life as of writing this review and I do not regret it! Open world games are gonna have a tough time living up to this game from here on out. The exploration and combat are top notch! The only thing I can say about this game that was truly frustrating was 2 specific bosses that had some damage scaling issues aside from that this game was a truly amazing experience. It has left me feeling empty and sad now that I've beaten it! I just hope this game will get dlc! 10/10 would recommend! It is more accessible than other souls game so if you wanna try a souls game for your first time try out this masterpiece!

Never played the series before, was enjoying it up until the game crashed while I was saving and deleted my save files. Can not recommend this game to anyone if the game can make you lose all of your progress.

This game is beautiful. The soundtrack is an absolute banger through and through. The gameplay is satisfying. All the characters are lovable, you get attached to them. They make the world feel alive! I had a great experience playing this game. My favorite part was walking down a hallway for 3 hours! haha for real though, this game is a banger and I would recommend anyone to play it! Everyone should experience this game!

I absolutely love risk of rain 2! The game is so much fun and can be replayed for what feels like forever! I was telling my friends that if I was ever falling into a slump with games and wasn't feeling gaming anymore, Risk of rain 2 would make me fall in love with gaming again.
