Good game but it corrupted my save file and ruined the experience for me. The game only stores one quicksave file which it overwrites every time you make a quicksave. I tried to quickload my save and found out that as soon as I load my save file it crashes the game. Not only that but the game's autosave file also does the same thing.

The corruption of not one but two save files made me lose almost half my gameplay time back to when I made my last manual save. This is unacceptable for a modern game.

Amazing game and a worthy successor both to the Baldur's Gate franchise and to Larian's prior Divinity: Original Sin franchise. This game is a paradigm shifting, genre defining RPG title that will set new standards for how RPGs should be made.

Great game with a great soundtrack, but desperately lacks replayability.

I love this game, the mechanics worked great for me and the soundtrack was absolutely amazing and worth listening through... But at the end of the day this game offers a linear story with about 10 levels, about 3 sub-challenges per level to unlock new passive abilities, and that's it. I played through the entire campaign and about 60% of the challenges in under 5 hours and there's not really much reason to replay the game unless you like chasing high scores. Once you beat the game there's no new game + or any other system to extend replayability.

I feel like this game really would have benefitted from being formatted more like a roguelike like BPM: Bullets per Minute rather than a linear campaign.

If you like metal and shooters, give the game a try, it's worth it for the time you're playing it, but don't come into it expecting to be able to sink tons of hours into it.

One of the most surprising games to come out of this year. Made by one man over many years, this game finally came out and went viral almost immediately, and for good reason. If you have any interest at all in the old Harvest Moon or Rune Factory games, this is a must own title.

EDIT: Two Years later this game is sitll amazing.

A decent game that needs to make some major performance improvements and add some more meaningful content to its gameplay loops before I can honestly say it's a good game.

What's here is fun for a while if you can get it running ok, but it becomes apparent very quickly that every planet plays functionally the same way, even if they have different climates, hazards, plants, and animals. The differences don't matter because at the end of the day you'll be doing the same things no matter what. Even the plants and animals start looking very familiar after a while.

If you just want a laid back game where you explore a vast universe with weird creatures, then this game isn't a bad pick. But if you want a compelling experience beyond just wandering around and exploring, then I'd recommend waiting for some updates or finding another game.

As it is right now, performance issues aside, No Man's Sky has the foundations necessary for a good game, but it desperately needs either modders or the developers to add more to the game to give it more content and reasons to explore the vast universe they created.

Absolutely GORGEOUS game, one of the nicest looking games I've played in a long time.

Aside from the graphics, the game is primarily a walking simulator with some very light puzzle elements. The story it tells is interesting and sucks you in. Unfortunately the payoff for the story is underwhelming.

Overall a decent 3-4 hour stroll through a beautiful forest town with some very very strange goings-on.

Not going to make my top games of all time list, but I enjoyed my time with it and don't regret buying it.

A trip back to the classic adventure games of old.

Broken Age tells the stories of two teenagers, Vella and Shay, as they experience their own coming of age stories. Shay is a teenaged boy stuck on a spaceship run by a motherly AI who still treats him like a baby even though he has long since grown weary of her childish games and patronising tone. He seeks a new adventure, and the shifty wolf Marek living in the underbelly of the ship may be just the solution.

Vella lives in a bakers community called Sugar Bunting, where every 10-20 years an event called the Maiden's Feast is held. During this feast, the great monster Mog Chothra is offered several sacrificial maidens as an appeasement to keep him from destroying the city. Vella is one of the lucky maidens, but she refuses to just lie down and be sacrificed. There must be a better way. Couldn't we just kill Mog Chothra?

Broken Age is the long awaited game made by Double Fine which was successfully kickstarted in March of 2012. Today, Act 1 is being released with Act 2 coming around April. This game is a callback to the classic point and click adventure games of old. It has all the charm and humour of those games, with a modern animation, voice acting, and art style. Voice actors like Elijah Wood (Shay), Jack Black (Harm'ny Lightbeard), Jennifer Hale (Shay's mom AI), Whil Wheaton (Lumberjack), and others are really funny and really bring the characters to life. The game ended on a jawdropping cliffhanger that left me begging for more and I cannot wait for Act 2 to come and pick up the pieces. My only real complaint is that the puzzle systems have been simplified when compared to older adventure games, and I really never struggled for too long on any of the puzzles. The story, art, and voice acting are top notch though and the game was an absolute blast to play.

Bottom line is this, never before did I ever think a stool could provide so much comedic value, and never before did I think that a SPOON of all things could be one of the most genious characters in a modern game. If you have any interest in this type of game then this is a must have.

This is probably the saddest, most depressing game you'll play until The Walking Dead Season 2 comes out... And I LOVE IT!

It's got one of the most engaging and interactive stories in video games. Your choices really do matter and will affect the outcome of the story in many ways.

It features one of the most well written and realized child characters in videogames, movies and TV combined. Finally a child character who isn't either completely useless or the most annoying person in the game

Currently replaying it to get my decisions right for when Season 2 comes out real soon!
