This is my first ever Neptunia game that I've played. What I can tell about the storyline is that it happens on "different" dimension where the ReBirth2 is like the starting point of the story and progresses to MDN V2. The ReBirth1 is like a boot up or an introduction to the characters and the story of the Neptunia series or something. But as far as I can tell, it is good.

11/10 would Nep again.

After completing the whole main story, I just wanna say that if you are here to have more "juicy" story or you were playing from other IFI games, maybe you could give it a try. I can't say that the story is really good or very meh, it just balance on the two.

Next is the gameplay. The gameplay is almost like in the mobile game of Azur Lane but it's 3D. The only different here is the time goes on as long as you finish the battle before two minutes or you get, y'know what I mean. But if I go deeper for the gameplay mechanics, it needs some improvement. The battle system is kinda meh at this point because there are times that the lock-on goes past the Kansen you were locking on, missing the shot. The graphics (most especially the backdrop and the water) looks "dated". But overall, it manages the game to be good.

Next is the music. It fits most of the event but one thing I don't like is that the music fades away and plays back again. Not like how I expected from other game that was made by the same video game company and uses the same game engine (I'm talking about Cyberdimenison Neptunia).

Lastly, the ships. Shimakaze and Suruga will be the first ship you will encounter in the game. As you progress, there will be more ships will get unlocked on every episode unlock.

Overall, I'll give this 7/10.

For a single player experience, you should definitely play this. But for online, good luck playing by yourself on a public server or waiting for you to connect for more than 10 minutes.

This game has good and bad qualities of it.

I liked the story in my opinion, it's very different from the other Neptunia titles, and I liked the music from the Deluxe DLC even though it's 192 kbps MP3.
The thing I hate on this game is that the battle system. I hate to admit it, it took me more than 20 minutes to beat the end because of lack of planning and I have to wait before I can attack.

But if you just want a Nep game in your collection, wait for Steam Sale and buy it.

I have been playing the Nep franchise 6 months ago and this game has better story than the last 3 ReBirth games. And to be honest, I haven't played the VII.

10/10 would Nep again

I love Nep games and recommended if you want to have a bit of rest from the main story of Hyperdimension Neptunia.

But, if you have mid-high end PC, your luck may vary because I can't play on my PC well and it crashes like after 10 minutes.
But hey, it has more fan service.
