Gameplay is tried and true. The campaign is interesting and the gun play feels robust and tactical.

I was able to try out this game during free weekend. I really wanted to like this game because it has such amazing sci-fi artistic vision. The 'cage drop' sequence, UI, weapons and character models are so fantastically done with tribute to games like Dead Space, Alien Isolation, etc. I loved everything aesthetically about the game.

The gameplay is tight and intense. I was able to get together a group of 3 to play and we were on the edge of our seats the whole time. It truly felt like we were in this together and trying to survive. However, the game is very punishing. We died multiple times, mostly because we kept running out of ammo. The checkpoints lock in your ammo count (among other things). Therfore, even when we died, we reset to the last checkpoint where we had no ammo. The only thing we can do was reset the entire mission over again which is quite repetitive.

The gunplay felt fine to me. It's definitely not as sharp as say, a Call of Duty shooter, but it gets the job done for the most part. The UI does need some work because it was very hard to find out our objectives as a team. However, there was a standout feature in the UI. I love the map feature where we can draw on it to direct the team, I thought that was very innovative.

There are a few bugs. One of which was game breaking during my first run through. I deployed a turret and could no longer pick it back up. I could also no longer pick up items or revive teammates since that command was glitched out. Even resetting checkpoints did not fix the problem so ultimately we had to quit the run :(

Overall, this is a game you probably don't want to play with randoms. It requires very intimate teamwork where you spend a lot of time together. Compound that with the constant death runs, and I can easily see a team member being frustrated and lashing out at another player. Players can also disconnect for what ever reason. If that happens, the run is completely ruined and everyone has wasted their time.

I hope they add in saved checkpoints where you can come back at a later date. The runs get really long and not everyone has enough time to sit through a multi-hour long run without taking a break, especially for a full team of 4.

You can literally spend hours in this game trying to climb up the dungeon, The game is very fast-paced and quite unforgiving when it comes to taking damage. However, this is all part of the fun as you dodge and roll across the map. I would like to see an online multiplayer feature added in the future. This is one of those games that would be great with a friend. Anyways, I would recommend this game.

Guns of Icarus has very interesting gameplay mechanics that elevates collaborative teamwork. If you have a party of four friends, this game can be a blast. Each team member can work together in order to "keep the ship afloat." The gunplay is pretty decent as well as the actual flying mechanics. However, the game can get a bit mundane after some time. This is due largely in part to the repetitive tasks that crew members (not captains) have to go though every singe game. There's a constant stream of fixing parts and refixing them, etc. so much that you feel like you're just playing mechanic simulator than engaging in an actual epic steampunk firefight. I would recommend that you do try the game, but just be aware of the longevity of the gameplay.

Don't Starve Together is a game that can both be fustrating and fun at the same time. The fustrating part is the reset that comes after your entire party dies. While this is the way the game was meant to be, losing all of your hardwork throughout hours of gameplay can be discouraging to some. It is also very easy to die in this game, so more often than not, you will restart games. At times the gameplay can also get quite repeititive as the game revolves around constantly scavaging for various supplies. You might spend hours just mining rocks or picking weeds.
The fun part of this game definately comes when you play with friends. There's just something about a group of friends working together to survive that makes the game appealing. Every member of your group has their own part to contribute to surviving. You'll have to rely on others to get you out of a bind, and this teamwork aspect is definitely strong in DST.
While the game can get bland after constant play, DST offers a wide array of mods that can spice up gameplay. In addition to gameplay mods, there are also client mods that just make the interface a bit more intuitive. I would recommend this game, but I also warn you that it can get boring when played frequently.

Block N Load, is THE example of Steam games that are actually fun to play, have replay value, and (most importantly of all) IS NOT PAY 2 WIN!

The game is very well polished with great graphics and can prove to be one of STEAM's best Free To Play games.

As a new player diving in the game, I was instantly consumed by the fun mechanics and playstyle of it. If I had to compare Block N Load to another game, it would be kind of a mix between DOTA/LEAGUE with Team Fortress 2 characters, and the freedom of Minecraft all mixed into one.

The battle maps in this game are very diverse; there are multiple playstyles you have to incorperate into playing each map. By allowing contant map rotations, it is a very refreshing game that has lots of replay value.
The characters in this game are simply amazing. Each character has their own unique set of tools for the job. Each one is valued in its own way. I've found that playing with a team with everyone having completely different characters, are the games that win the most.

CONS:

- BALANCING
While there are many different types of characters to choose from, only a select few are currently viable. Engineers are almost essential to a win, while playing the Sniper class proves to extremely hard to win with. There are Cogswheels in almost every game because of how strong they are. I would love to see more balancing of characters in order to give more streamline gameplay.

-
- RANKING SYSTEM
Block N Load has a ranking system. However the problem with this system is that it is completely one-sided. A player can only progress forward in terms of rank, and never drop ranks. To put simply, the ranking that a player has simply reflects the amount of time they've put into the game; not actually their skill level.
I would love to see a ranking system with both ups and downs in order to have more of a competitive environment.

Overall Block N Load is am amazing game worthy to pick up and try. There are only minor issues, but I'm sure those will get sorted out with time. Have fun guys =]

I think its a great Free-to-play game. When you're still in the rookie stage, it's fairly easy to score and play. However once you ascend to "major" rank, it gets increasingly more difficult. Still would recommend you give it a try.
