You took so much from BDO except one of the most important things... Controller support. So many mmos are flopping simply because you lack controller support. Here in 2025 any dev team that doesnt plan for controller support from the start is bound to fail. EVEN World of Warcraft has FULL Controller support, even if it took them 20 years to do it. Even those this game took a lot from BDO it still looks pretty good, but it will flop because you greatly underestimated the importance of controller support. Until this is fixed I cannot recommend this game.

If you play this game as a first and never played the previous game then you may find this game entertaining, however if you where a fan of Torchlight 2, this game doesn't even come close to the greatness of TL2. They took everything that made TL2 great, Over a Dozen character classes, innate pet, character customization, mod support. It's like someone said "lets take everything the fans said they like about the previous game and throw it out, make a game that no one who played TL2 will like. I'm highly disappointed

could atleast add a auto walk to target if you are going to only use mouse and keyboard. Shows again that a bunch of old programmers that think this is 1984. Making a game in 2024 without controller support is simply a waste of time.

Honestly I really want to Recommend, however for me this game gets boring and lonely. Once you build our base and explored a few areas that's honestly about it for this game. It's like the developers took everything that made Skyrim fun and took it out, then added some base building. The NPCs don't move, they'll talk but that's about it. The world is Beautiful but also boring. The world doesn't feel lived in, it doesn't feel active. It's like the Shrouded made everyone disappear. Like WHO am I saving the Shroud for? It's another mmo that expects the players to make the world Active. That is not how an RPG adventure is supposed to work. You want to feel like you have stumbled upon this cool and crazy world, exploring doing missions and engaging with the locals. It's not all the DEVs fault because a lot of developers haven't seemed to learn from what works.

Wow works for it's diverse characters and wide range of skills and abilities, even tho the npcs rely on you to interact with them at least they seem to live in the world and not just placed there as a side feature. Skyrim worked because it's npcs actually move and sandbox, they actually appear to live in the world, they eat, they sleep, the shops close as a certain time. Even tho Skyrim really works because of the Modders now adays, but people still play it. This game is trying to be Hi graphics Minecraft and unfortunately that's not what's going to cut it for a game like this. But even the NPCs move around in minecraft, how their own villages and shop. When I clear a village from the fog, give me the reward of saving people who rebuild the village and become a safe haven for shops and what not. WHY am I the ONLY one fighting. It's just me against the world? There has to be people who survived in hiding, Magic exists in this world. You should have just keep working on Portal Knights. How is it that you turned PK into a really decent RPG and took NONE of that to Enshroud?

Beautiful game, interesting story, most importantly Controller support. If you have a lower in computer you can still play this game on mid to low settings. Devs are actively upgrading the game and listens to the players. Although I think the game will go through a major change in the future, for now it is pretty great! Recommend!

This would be a great game if it had full controller support and real time combat. Honestly it's 2024, If BDO has taught 1 thing, its how to do combat. Click and wait is ancient, especially for MMOs. X for light attack, y for heavy attacks, B for dodge/roll, rb for special, lb for consumables. If it's a game with a lot of specials or moves then the trigger buttons can be used to add more menu options. This should be mandatory for all MMOs goong forward.

There really is no excuse, even mobile games have attack and combos. Proper controls can make or break a game. This game dies according to all the reviews but i can guarantee that if the combat was realtime this game would rival most rpgs

So you made me pay for a game... then changed that game to something completely useless and abandon it. Then you re-release the original game that you messed up, slightly different and then ask me to buy it again. That's messed up. There should have been a free upgrade option for those you disappointed the first time.

This Game was fun 10 Years ago.... and it is just as Fun now... Very Grind-y... and I love it, Very Nostalgic. 8.5/10
