Biggest mistake of a chapter, which is saying something.

The controls are still an issue but the recent patch has stemmed a lot of the issues with it, with the reduction in repair costs, fall damage it means you're less likely to die from the misread input.

The stamina changes are nicer too as it means the most viable strategy is no longer hit once, roll out and rinse and repeat.

Neat little idea.

Player 2s aesthetic is a bit boring and monotone and the writing could use a do over.

I enjoyed it a bit outside of the above but my partner didn't seem to though.

This game is honestly incredible.

The environment is great, the audio and music hits in all the right places.

The game loop is satisfying and meaningful.

It can be stressful and annoying as some sections but it just adds to the overall experience.

An incredibly solid game that I can't recommend enough.

Would put this in the solidly okay territory.

Only kinda downside is the first war isn't very natural, its kinda designed in a way that if you're not making progress they tune it so we will, if we make too much they tune it down.

This kinda has taken the stakes away for the first war since you don't really have much of an impact.

The gameplay itself is fine and lots of fun but it kinda feels like a very on the rails DnD campaign.

Hopefully in future wars its only tweaked when its massive unbalanced one direction or another and the wins/losses feel more natural.

Still worth picking up if you like to turn your brain off and shoot bots/bugs.

Its a really fun and good game but with a giant identity issue.

Its poised as a multiplayer game however the pacing is that of a single player game. Once an area is progressed or somethings unlocked, its unlocked which is great while you're playing.

However if you say log off to go to work or something and people keep playing the quests that get done are done server wide, you won't get any of the rewards or get to experience it.

As a result it kinda gives the game a weird identity, its a multiplayer game where you're punished to play with friends but at the same time the actual game play is better with friends.

Hopefully they find a way to fix it as I'd love to pick it up again, however as someone who works and has a child it means each time I log in I was further behind with no means to catch up myself, it came down to others to basically get me to the point I could do the new quests.

This game is everything Ark and Pokemon should be.

While people comment it's just parts ripped from other games, why is this Frankenstein monster doing better than both.

The gameplay loop makes you want to go out and explore through upgrades to your gear and base which is a huge improvement to the creature catching formula.

Now is this game perfect? No, there are quite a few bugs and the scaling is completely wack sometimes but this game is overall just a great deal of fun.

Highly recommend if you're a fan of Ark.

Kind of like Stardew Valley meets Animal Crossing.

Its a bunch of fun, starts a little slow but soon opens up to more and more things to do.

Honestly I love this game, in fact Adam's entire series is incredible. I absolutely suck at them but there's something about it that just makes it a joy to learn and improve on, it is sometimes buggy but overall its a great game/series. I'd recommend Dead Signal as a good starting point as its a bit easier than the WTTG series.

Currently for OCE players no.

Servers don't work((they now do) and people are already hacking so not a lot of fun at the moment.

However I did play both Beta's and they were really fun so this game could be solid in a couple weeks/months.

There's a couple of key design decisions that don't seem very well thought through.

When your team is wiped you get a respawn penalty, which makes perfect sense in a team of 3, unfortunately in most games you'll have a leaver or 2 and there is no backfill, so if you die while already at a handicap you'll proceed to be penalised even further.

Lots of potential but a bit short on the execution. Will be sure to check in again in a few weeks/months.
