Overall, I've really enjoyed this game. Some aspects are clunky but the effort has been put in. OST is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BANGING though (Sonic Team please put it on Spotify already ;_;)

I love the Guardians around the island, it makes the game a lot of fun especially with the bosses different mechanics although it can get repetitive which is a slight downside.

Some graphic glitches especially with the chaos emeralds, they always look weird to me but I don't know whether if that was intentional or not or maybe my graphics card is just becoming an old man. Never really had an issue with pop in like what other people have mentioned so far.

One downside is that when you complete the game, you can't revisit the islands for fun and you'd have to play from the beginning is what i've gathered (unless i'm just being dumb and there is way but I haven't found it)...

In the end, finally a good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game from the Sonic Team, I love the homages to Adventure / Heroes within the levels!! ♥

28 hours does not total my overall gameplay time as to when I had it originally on the NGC. I've probably have had at least 1k hours on this game. I love Sonic as a franchise and their games, however this one hits home for me. The Steam port feels okay to play and everything is still the same nostalgia as I experienced when I first got the game. Great levels, and the Hero / Dark stories add a mix to everything as well as the different aspects of the gameplay depending which character you choose.

The chao garden is probably where I spent most of my time. However if you're like me and feel like kinda lazy in bringing up a chao again just get the fusion chao editor and make your chao life a lot easier and still memorable!

Okay, so.
As much as I love the Sonic franchise and ♥♥♥♥. I was really hyped up for Sonic Forces.

First of all, if you're still a Sonic fan, and love it despite the flaws, please do get the game. The music is amazing and I can gurantee you it's sort of a fresh game. The boss levels were really fun as well. Also character customisation can allow me to make the dankest shadow the edgierhog so no complaints there.

However, coming to the negative points. I have to say this was the far most shortest Sonic game i've ever played. Either that or I've become really good, which I don't think so because I died so many times. I wish the port was better and that the cutscenes can be played in 60fps, some scenes were very low quality and such.

Well anyway, try and defeat the game within 2 hours (took me 3 cause i'm a scrub af) and refund it.

This would be spoilerino, so if you don't want to spoil yourself it's best to play the game.

I only played this game cause my friends suggested me to. Even streamed it thinking it wouldn't be bad BUT OH MY GOD I WAS SOOOOO WRONG. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It literally messes with your head. It teaches you things along the road. Honestly for this game to be free, it delivers a story rich aspect which will keep you hooked because of the characters. Honestly i'd rate 9/10 but i'm not good with horror and literally screamed at the disturbing parts.
