If Doom was a metal concert. This game slaps unreasonably hard.

I only wish there was more...

Game is good fun, but the monetisation *really* needs another pass. Its a good game underneath, but the grind is too harsh.

In my mind a perfect compliment to the outer wilds. A powerful story, and some fantastic subversion, world building and puzzles. If you enjoyed the outer wilds, why are you even considering this? Just play it! Its more Outer Wilds.

That being said, if you enjoyed the space-fairing nature of the main game, do not expect any. While focusing on the DLC, you will spend 20s at the start of each loop piloting your spaceship "to" the DLC, then you won't use it again until the next loop. Its fine, and it works, just don't expect the planet hopping adventure of the main game, this all takes place at one location.

I enjoyed this game.
It called me an "unbelievably boring ♥♥♥♥".
I cried, and continued to enjoy the game.

This game could be really good, REALLY GOOD when they patch it. But you can't review a game based on how good it will be in early 2021. The city, the art direction and the world itself is beautiful, and feels actually pretty deep. The world truly is one of the best looking worlds from any game. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. The stealth is buggy, the driving is buggy, the conversations are buggy, the missions are buggy.

I've had 2 missions now fail on me, entirely unable to progress, one is supposedly one of the best side missions in the game, and I don't get to experience that due to bugs. I want people to enjoy this, and I want it to succeed, but it needed more time in the oven, it needed more polish, and it needed another delay.

The best Space Exploration Game I've ever played
The best Time Loop Game I've ever played
I don't know what else to say? Its a metroidvania (kinda) based on your own knowledge instead of powerups, and some genuinely fantastic puzzles. Its an all round exceptional game.

"Rise and shine, Mister Newell - rise and... shine. Not that I wish... to imply that you have been sleeping on... the job. No one is more deserving of a rest, and all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well... let's just say your hour has... come again. The company man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mister Newell ... wake up and... smell the ashes."

GTA 1 driving meets walking sim meets visual novel meets those beautiful Minecraft voxel creations people like to put into Blender.

If you go into this game expecting a thrilling action game where you have to survive numerous firefights as you make a daring escape from the police, while myriad dialogue trees span an ever expanding narrative... You're going to be disappointed, and you need to rethink what an Indie developer can do in a game worth £15.

If you want a beautiful city to fly around in and walk around in, along with an interesting narrative that evolves around you, while you get your own apartment, and some stunning views and vistas, this game is great.

Seriously, just sometimes slow down, and take in how much detail and how beautiful this game is. Its voxel, so the characters don't look stunning, but you rarely see them close up, its the buildings and the cars you really see, and they look great.
