Having played Age of Empires II: The Conquerors & HD for 8,000+ hours I can say honestly say this is a nice improvement and modernisation of the game that stays true to everything that made the original game so great.
There were some technical issues within the first few hours after the launch of the game, but were quickly resolved.
The Definitive Edition truly lived up to my expectations and beyond.
