I really like the game, but I can’t in good conscience recommend it with how poorly it runs. Even BF2042, which is held together by glue and spit, gets better frame rates than this. I’m running it on a 6700 XT and a 5600x, and I’m barely hitting 100 FPS on some maps. In my last match, I was getting a constant 70-80 FPS whenever I got near any action.

Getting this game to run better should be their number one priority right now. The gameplay is fun, but the performance is just not there.

It can be fun, but making me join a 180 ping server and not letting me leave the match is actually insane

The game is literally unplayable at the moment since there is no singleplayer option, and the servers are currently offline.

I might change my review when the servers are working again. Emphasis on "might" since PD:TH and PD2 had an offline mode.

Let's start with the negatives. Personally, I find the combat in this game to be quite disappointing. It lacks the fluidity I had hoped for, and it fails to deliver the engaging experience I look for in games of this genre. While this might be a deal-breaker for some, I've been able to look past it and discover one of the best games I've ever played.

The fact that I've continued playing this game for 50 hours, even while disliking one of its core features, speaks volumes about the strengths it possesses. It demonstrates that the developers have succeeded in creating a game that excels in multiple areas, compensating for its shortcomings.

edit: Don't get me wrong, just because the combat is not my cup of tea, doesn't mean you won't like it. I'm just more found of a reactive combat, rather than a "think before you attack", kinda like Bloodborne vs Dark Souls 1
