900 hours clocked in now, game is still sick hoho merry christmas

Vergil DLC - WORTH THE DAMN 5 BUCKS. Like seriously, I thought we were going to just get a Boss Vergil with just some less awkward movement controls but nah, it's a full blown complete Vergil w/ 3 weapons, more moves & taunts compared to his old iterations. Also i'm happy for M19 - M20 and the new cutscenes are like sick af, but pre rendered hold em little bit back :sadge:

(Updated some stuff below)

Story -

Pros
- If you want the FULL story experience, read the Before the nightmare novel first. It makes the story even more fleshed out and gives so much context to the story and has little dialogues that can't be find in the game.

Visions of V is a MUST read after DMC5's story, it's pretty much how most of the cutscenes would have went if DMC5 were given more budget LuL AND we get to see an actual prequel of dante & vergil as kids, exploration of Vergil/V's psychology before & during the events of DMC5, and shows how redgrave city went down during the invasion, and also the DMC5 Artbook to get some context on some locations and etc.

- You might emotional in the ending
- It got some sick ass small subtle details on cutscenes
- A LOT of callbacks from the old games
- Cutscenes are top notch
- Music has a lot of sick tracks

Cons
- Some Qlipoth levels are bit meh, but other than that, everything looks good imo.
- I like everything about the story, my only gripes w/ it is that it lacks some cuhrazy choreographed fights on some cutscenes when compared from DMC3 - 4 (Vergil DLC sorta fixed this because good lord the action on those new cutscenes are PERFECTO), the ending was a bit rushed, and kinda got annoyed some mistranslations on some dialogues but that's just how most ♥♥♥ games getting localized roll these days.

Gameplay -

Pros
- What I like about it is that the animations are sick, the details on some weapons are really cool, taunts are SSS tier, buster animations are still satisfying af, the game's combat is still deep af, it brings new good ♥♥♥♥ in the table, it gave dante new weapons, new mechanics, and for Nero, he has 8 devil breaker arms, new moves from his existing moveset, and a new mechanic too. V is the most interesting to play as, but I wished he was more fleshed out and was given more moveset and summons.

Cons
- If you are an advance player from dmc3 and dmc4, you might find some mechanics underwhelming or dumbed down. Enemy step has an animation cooldown now and the timing is no longer strict, you can spam jump and attack and get some consistent jc attacks, no inertia, no reversals, and some moves have a lot of recovery like royal guard and etc.
- Where. Is. My. Turbo. Mode.
- I wish there was more options for the player to tinker around like removing/lessen camera shake, no slow mo's, remove hud, and etc.
- Make the final boss a lot more aggressive pls :(

(None of these combat cons are still fixed aside from Turbo after Vergil DLC or DMC5SE sad leyf)

Graphics -

Beautiful. AF.
