I've been playing this game on steam deck and it runs great. I love the detail involved and haven't had any issues with bugs which is awesome.

Right now I've completed almost every recipe and almost every challenge (including the DLC), which brings me to my next paragraph:

I would enjoy being able to have more than 20 customers and, as someone else pointed out, be able to run the bar or do something with it.

I'd also very much enjoy an actual cook book based off the game for those of us who might enjoy making some of these recipes IRL.

If you're into a casual game that has a bit of challenge, I suggest this one.

Couldn't put it down. Amazing game that has lots of replayability. The story will suck you in and you'll be on edge.

The UI is easy and simple, tutorial is short and sweet and gives you the gist of the game. I didn't think I'd sink as much time into is as I did, but I did. Enjoy :)

I hate to give this game a bad review, but when I experience glitches in the tutorial then I feel it's fair to give other people warning.

I literally could not complete the tutorial mode because a Bengal tiger "escaped" (I'll explain the quotation marks later) my habitat. The tiger was boxed in the park, so I clicked on it to have it placed back into the habitat. Nope. Wasn't happening. The game said anywhere I try to put it was "invalid".

I fumbled around with it a lot longer than I should have thinking that perhaps this was part of the scenario that I missed. I turned off the game and turned it back on. Nothing I did was fixing this, so eventually I gave up on the scenario and figured I'd learned enough to get me by. I figured this was a one off thing.

I started a park in franchise mode. I made one big habitat to start intending for it to be savannah grazers (ostriches, warthogs, springbok, etc). It was quite large and there were no welfare issues with having warthogs and ostriches together.

Then another "escape" happened. I think, ok, maybe it's my fence. I make the fence stronger and higher. I check it over and over.... then I can't find the box containing my escaped animal anywhere. I try to move it using the menu options and nope, wasn't happening. The escaped animal stayed escaped and boxed. I hired more workers- everything. I started losing money.

I by accident figured out that if you go to your 'zoo' menu and send the boxed animal back to the trade center that you can then place it back into your habitat from there, which is great, cause my warthogs had babies and all the babies "escaped", but not the adults and not the ostriches or their babies.

I decided to follow one of the baby warthogs to find out from where they were "escaping". It walked into the middle of the habitat, disappeared, then became "escaped".

So my zoo only has ostriches and warthogs and is about to go bankrupt because of this glitch. It keeps happening over and over again. I've spent more time putting baby warthogs back into the habitat than I have doing anything else in the game. It's a pretty big glitch that I find hard to have been missed during testing, and reading online looking for solutions tells me that it has been happening for over a year now.

I would put up with something like this from a small indie game that I paid $10-$15 for, but not a game from a bigger studio.

Hopefully this will be fixed. Please fix this. I want to enjoy this game as much as I did all the Zoo Tycoon games.

Oh, and ostriches can apparently run through wooden walls, which appears to be another glitch.

I've not played the game for long, but I'm enjoying the storyline. I'm a bit of a history buff, so I enjoy the small notes of medieval life. The game reminds me of Witcher III, but with a touch of history added to it. I've been going through Google maps looking up the villages and towns that still exist today that are in the game. It plays well and runs very smoothly.

Great story. If you love point and click adventure games like King's Quest, Space Quest, etc., then you'll like this one. I hope there's a sequel.

I have a minor in anthropology and love city building games, so of course this one stood out to me, and I honestly started expecting it to not run well on my older PC, but it runs great!

The graphics are beautiful and I love scrolling around and admiring how much work has gone into this game so far, both artistically and play-wise.

I'd love to see more content (pastures and burial practices, which I've seen discussed on the forums), but the game is super fun and challenging. I love watching/seeing all the different animal species and my civilization grow and develop over time from simple hunter-gatherers.

This game is absolutely beautiful and one of the best crafting games I've ever played. There's a wide array of things to make, blocks, block shapes, and tons of textures. The world itself is extremely vast and expansive with graphics that will run on my PC that is even a few years behind. Most games that I bought similar to this one at the same time as this game are really laggy on my PC and require me to turn down the graphics, but this one is completely smooth. It's still in development, so I can't wait to see what sort of things are put in the game next.

Ever since I bought this game for the Steam Winter Sale I've been totally addicted. The interface is incredibly simple, but the game is very complex and engaging, which makes it great for someone who might not have a high end gaming computer that might not be able to run other survival games with high graphics.

The other thing is, that in most games where there is no save to go back to if you die, I get really frustrated, but this game doesn't do that to me... every time I've died has been because I did something incredibly dumb that got me killed (walking on icy lakes, going on hunts for wolves that I wasn't really ready to tackle, etc.).

This game as lots and lots of potential. It's a challenging city builder/worker management game; sort of like if Minecraft and Banished had a baby.. it would be this game.

The game is very addicting and until you are able to attract migrants to your town it is very challenging to fend off enemies while keeping your town going and growing.

I love that I can design any building any way that I want out of any materials that I want and place objects anywhere in those buildings that I want. It's wonderful! I also like that I can zoom in and first person move through the town that I just built (a first person mode would be great, or POV from the workers would be cool too)

I like that I can pick and choose what objects (tools, materials, weapons, etc.) I can watch or what I don't watch by adding them to the side screen. (It would be nice if you could just click on the logo of the object you are watching and bring up the "track/buy/sell" box too instead of having to scroll through the menus).

What I would like to see though is:
-The ability to breed domestic livestock
-Respawning and/or the ability to grow berry bushes... it seems once you harvest all the berry bushes in the game, they don't grow back or take a very long time to do so if they do..
-It would also be nice if the developer would create a "delete" tool or make it more user friendly for deleting stuff. I find deleting any object, wall, designated area (mining/building), military patrol routes, or roads is sort of all over the place and it would be nice to see one single tool for all of that stuff. Right now if you want to delete a road/designated area it is shift+alt+click (highlighted area) to delete. To delete objects or objects that are designated to be built you just click on them and the option comes up to delete them. To delete a military patrol route you also click on it and you can delete the whole route or the last placed point. If I could just right click the mousekey and highlight an area for objects and all to be deleted that would be much easier.
-An easier way to cycle through workers instead of individually clicking on them one at a time.

All in all I bought 3 games one day about a week ago and I've only played this one.

I am updating my review to add that this game is VERY CHALLENGING. I definitey rage quit it a couple of times, but if that's what you're looking for than this is the game for you. In stating that, I would also like to see a force save option since there is only auto save and it won't help you if you're getting your butt kicked and want to go back and see what you can do differently at an earlier point in the game. It is still a great game with much potential.
