Think of this game sort of like: If Animal Crossing, Dragon Quest, Zelda, MapleStory 2 and a bit of FFXIV had a child together.
The Crafting progression reminds me alot of FFXIV's ARR crafting progression, visuals remind me of MapleStory 2 and Dragon Quest, the whole island and recruiting system reminds me of Animal Crossing, combat reminds me of older Zelda titles, etc etc.

Anyways, this game has been GREAT. I am very much loving my time here, it's a cozy game that you can tackle stuff at your own time, it's cute, it's charming, it's great. It's weird to say this but this game scratches a very specific itch of mine that makes me EXTREMELY HAPPY, something I don't often feel while playing modern games nowadays.

This game has insane potential, it's very bare bones for now from what I've seen because it's obviously a super early access, but if updates are consistent and just right, this game will be a perfect survival game.
It looks good, runs good, feels good but it's very simple so far, with more and more content it will just get better, so I'd suggest waiting this game to cook for a year or so if you're not willing to play a bare bones version.


(Also, please make the dragon appear less often, it's actually quite annoying trying to live your life and build stuff and be attacked almost daily by him.)

Why did it took this long for me to give this game a honest try?

I am addicted to this game and I hate it.

I'm gonna leave a no not because the game is bad or anything, it's just that they could've atleast done the bare minimum of adding things like UI scaling with resolution (because I can't see sh*t)
Not to mention this version is far more bugged than the OG was, modern resolution really screws this game up.
I'd say grab it on sale because it's definitely not worth the full price, game is still as amazing as I remember but definitely needs improvements for modern setups.

What a wild ride, this game was my first try at a more "retro dark fantasy" dungeon crawler (Never really played them before)
With that said, this game was a fun experience overall, so much beautiful scenario, so much atmosphere, interesting and deep lore (although I'm still very confused by it, but maybe that's just me being dumb). The dark in dark fantasy really shines in some parts of this game, I think I got jumpscared maybe like thrice and also was sh*tting my pants going through some areas.
Anyways, it's an easy recommend for me, I'd tell you to try and see if it's your cup of tea, you can always refund before hitting the 2 hour mark.

And also, thanks for the Brazilian Portuguese translation!! I hope people over here in Brazil who doesn't know much English finds their way into this gem of a game.
