Yes. Right now, the game is a 8/10.

Once they fix the hitbox bug where your hitbox doesn't follow the player, this will be a definite 10/10. The issue has been aknowledged by Bethesda, so I assume they're working on a fix for it. I will update this review once they do.

Early Access Review
Ah, cyubeVR. What can I say about this wonderful little game? It's another "Wow" experience for VR, even if it's still in it's early days in terms of content. The game is gorgeous, you can get many wonderful screenshots out of it. Many of it's systems are just so well-done and satisfying, it's a pleasure to use them. The Developer is also wonderful, quickly getting any issues resolved and listening closely to community feedback. The game is EXTREMELY well optimized, and is not afraid to use the resources of your computer (scales up to 32 threads!!).

Pros:

  • Beautiful scenery
  • Extremely well optimized
  • Friendly Dev
  • Awesome crafting system
  • Doesn't feel like a Minecraft clone
  • Gives you a sense of wonder
  • Will make you buff

Cons:

  • Early days, still not much content. But the dev seems to be keen on adding more very quick-like.
  • Bloom can be a little much, but that's going to be fixed soon as well with a bloom slider.
  • TAA (Blur) is also a little much for me, makes the game look a little fuzzy sometimes. But also seems to be getting options soon.
  • No multiplayer as of yet. But it's on the roadmap.

Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone wanting a new sense of adventure and wonder, and anyone craving the early-adopter feeling so you can watch the game progress (I mean cmon, if you bought VR, that's pretty much what you live and breathe). Price is fair.

The game has 4 different classes, you start of pretty weak in each of them. Immediately after leaving the tutorial area, a guy asked me for directions to the first quest (killing a king stag), which I was looking for as well. We teamed up together and tried to find it, we were idiots so it took us awhile, and then we killed it together and finished that quest. We both then joined eachother's party and have been questing ever since. We've gone killing, scavenging, fishing, and we even got magic wands. And now we're practicing magic casting, which is drawing patterns, which you have to get right in order to cast successfully. Takes a lot of practice. But it's so rewarding.

TL;DR: Everyone's wanted a VR MMORPG ever since such a thing was even conceptualized. And now it's here. And it's amazing. Don't let the trailer fool you. Buy the damn game.

EDIT Update for reborn: The game is even better now. Please, for the love of god, buy this game. The performance is a lot smoother now (1.4% reprojection GTX 1080 / Ryzen 7 1700 at 2.0 supersampling), and there are more classes, new enemy types, and a new quest structure. The map is BEAUTIFUL to explore around and everyone is friendly and helpful.

DO NOT buy GTA V or any other Take-Two published game. Take-Two has decided to takedown multiple community mods and also OpenIV, saying that they let users hack online. The thing is, one of the pre-requisites for using OpenIV is a script hook that completely disables online. So effectively, Take-Two has killed offline modding and has been going after code injection modifications like FiveM, not the hackers messing with their precious online that sucks.

On behalf of the entire PC Community and the OpenIV development team,
♥♥♥♥ you Take-Two.

A really fun survival game. This is similar to Minecraft, however the community is not a bunch of 10 year olds and you can play for a long time without getting board
