awesome game, cant wait to see how the game is in a year

Will not recommend in current state, i played elite for many many hrs and i just don't feel Odyssey is a finished product, not what i expected, the new planetary tech is amazing nonetheless but this is not enough, also i keep finding crash sites and artificial markers or whatever and it doesn't make sense in some point because you are so far out in the void.. other people have rendering issues and it just makes me sad that it was pushed so fast..those who have SLI although it is a thing of the past - are not supported at Odyssey at all!
i wonder why Frontier and Braben himself haven't learn a thing about community management.. hell there's even a famous streamer on YT than just gave up on the game cause you just don't announce anything new.. take example from CDPR and NMS devs.. temp. remove odyssey, take your time, fix it, cause it is not, NOT, worth the money, and i did play alpha as much as my free time allowed me.
not all elite players have time or will to report bugs and to rate the game, so far, it seems like FDEV assumes that most requests from community weather it's forums or any other way is just a fraction of the actual community, therefore it is not very essential to mind those peoples opinion.. many of those people bought HOTASs and VR headsets mainly to play this game, and FDEV couldn't even had or will to take the time to implement the VR aspect that already exists in the game and forces us go to a flat screen .. rediculous.. vr is nothing futuristic, its as basic BUT not affordable to anyone - as a good graphics card in my opinion, elite dangerous is one of the best vr experiences one can ever have, i love this game and always will, but i just don't want to play it in the current state. very disappointing.. i want to believe that Mr. braben is just as unhappy as most reviewers in steam, even the frontier ED:O forums are full of negative remarks..

Awesome. i was not part of the hype whatsoever, also was not ready for such a great game.
i finished the prologue, its a little slow but definitely covers what you need to know to continue.
but after that, it gets better and better with every hour that passes. so far it is very smooth, some rarely seen animation bugs, minor rendering bugs of buildings and commercial signs, other than that city feels alive, npc's behavior like walking needs a little fix, dialogue-wise, voice acting is good in my opinion. i wish there were more dialogue options. you can interact with almost every npc but you"ll mostly just get a good variaty of reactions, some npcs interact with you and you can start a dialogue after you stare long enough at what they do, melee combat system is acceptable. weapon animations look awesome, weapons in general looks good, you have everything you wished for RPG-wise in this game. from rarity of items to exploring and looting, the story is very interesting and you find logs that tell stories of the cyberpunk awesome lore.
9\10 for this game. not a 10\10 because some of the bugs i listed and probably more needs to be fixed.

Amazing epic game. i'm in steam since 2007 and don't remember leaving a review.
the combat mechanics are awesome, the epicness of meat slaughter battles, the ability to do gestures, to speak and shout various commands, the most stable UNREAL engine usage i've encountered, if you have a friends or two to play with it gets more awersome!!
THE ONLY CON IS THAT IM A GRAPHICS ♥♥♥♥♥, AND THIS GAME IS 8\10 IN GRAPHICS.
also there aren't many map options but GAME IS IN ALPHA.
this game is worth every single jewish shekel i spent, YES I'VE BOUGHT THE SUPPORT!
AND EVEN WILLING TO DONATE MORE!!
