Played this game for far longer than I've owned it on steam, but this was as good a chance as any to support Cavemanon. I've experienced everything the game had to offer and, despite not being much of a visual novel guy, I do believe it's been one of the best time investments I've done regarding a game. The story is relatively simple, and the characters are nice and charming. There are a couple of fun references here and there, some even capable of breaking immersion if you know where the characters are from and such... but those only really happen early on.
It's easy to get absorbed into the story and keep playing, wondering "what's going to happen next?" Additionally, the game is decently long considering it's just a visual novel. I was pleasantly surprised by just how much entertainment I've gotten out of it when playing through it for the first time. I was bummed that I was done with the game by the time I got my first ending, but the game itself lets you know that there is more than one ending! The endings vary drastically and they were intriguing enough that it powered me to keep on playing even after finishing the game.
One of the main things I liked about Wani is that the choices you make can & will change how many of the events will play out. I did not have big expectations for such things happening, as I was very used to games telling you 'your choices matter!!!!!' and the 'mattering' in question being nigh insignificant. However, with this being a game that heavily relies on its story being captivating enough to keep the player going, I guess I should've seen it putting greater emphasis on having the player's choices mattering.
All in all, this game was an extremely pleasant experience. I laughed, I cried, and I was kept in suspense at many points throughout the story... even though I do not typically cry from videogames. I would heavily recommend you play through the game and try to put yourself in the shoes of Inco — the game is definitely worth experiencing.

Thanks for reading, and get to hugging that gator!
